Wheal Martyn Celebration of Light and Clay - 5th, 6th & 7th December 

Cornwall’s fantastic former clay works make a brilliant year-round attraction for all types of visitor, while their events schedule presents an exciting mix of entertainment to match. Using the latest LED technology to light up the site, follow a light trail toward the immersive Woodland Wonderland UV Experience and admire patterned displays before being wowed by the laser light performance during this not-to-be-missed show. 

Christmas.Time!

Near-ta Theatre’s festive comedy, Christmas.Time! celebrates a decade of touring while enticing audiences into the festive spirit with energised aplomb.

Written and performed by Daniel Richards and Ciaran Clarke, and directed by Simon Harvey (o-region, Kneehigh) Christmas.Time! combines music and comedy to crowd-pleasing effect for a fantastically fun and festive adventure through Dickens, pantomime, musical, Christmas dinner and Christmas films for the ultimate in Christmas cheer!

Various dates and venues including Fowey Town Hall, Old Bakery Studios in Truro, St. Just Old Town Hall, Wadebridge Town Hall, The Poly in Falmouth, and The Alverton in Truro.

Discover the art of origami as you handcraft your own Christmas decorations to gift or adorn your home/holiday home as you please. 

Polgoon Autumn/Winter Vineyard Tours 

Head to Penzance’s stunning vineyard to sample their award-winning tipples and discover more about the wine making process as you roam the grounds and quaff no less than five different lip-smacking varieties. While there, head to the shop to stock up on everything from their award-winning wines to ciders, spirits, juices and various scrumptious edibles such as jams, chutneys and honey all produced in and around the area – or even adopt an apple tree or vine for an eco-friendly Christmas gift.

Head to Cornwall’s unique underground venue for crystals and crafts in a spellbinding cavern setting as you explore the majestic surrounds and shop for presents during their wonderfully different annual event.
