Cornwall’s hub for all things maritime, it’s fitting that Falmouth is home to Rick Stein’s Fish. The restaurant and takeaway on the waterfront at Discovery Quay offer a lip smacking range of dishes.

Rest your weary feet and sit down for whole deep-fired sea bass, goujons of plaice or Meen Kulambu (a Southern Indian cod curry) or take your battered or grilled fish (think cod, hake, haddock, plaice and bream), scampi or a burger outside for an alfresco feast and fill your lungs with some fresh sea air while you’re at it.

Rick Stein, Fistral

Rick Stein’s newest venture sees him claim stake on the sands at Newquay’s famous Fistral Beach.

The coolly casual restaurant offers both a breakfast and a takeaway menu, which are crammed with delicious and innovative treats. Take some classic fish and chips outside and dine under sand dune and stars, or dive into foreign flavours including Goan chicken curry, Nasi goreng and Pad Thai noodles.
