We are delighted to have donated £1000 to iSight Cornwall. iSight Cornwall is a not-for-profit charity and the county’s one and only centre of resource and support for those affected by sight loss. iSight Cornwall is passionate about helping anyone living with any visual impairment, whatever their age and circumstances.  

Founded in 1856 to support Cornish miners, their dedicated team is ready to help; providing specialist advice, assistive technology, individual assessments, everyday living support and advice, eye clinics, benefits advice, clubs and activities and has a dedicated team of volunteers across Cornwall’s eye clinics. Along with a client referral service, iSight’s services are designed to support visually impaired people across Cornwall and the Isle of Scilly.  

Holiday Coordinator and member of the Charity Council for Aspects Holidays, Jackie Hosken-Johns, proposed and arranged the donation for iSight, after a member of her family affected by sight loss received support from the charity, she says “I’m delighted that we were able to donate to iSight Cornwall, the charity has helped my nephew and his partner, after she was registered blind a couple of years ago, the support and guidance that they’ve given has been extremely beneficial.”  

Chief Executive of iSight Cornwall, Carole Theobald gave thanks for the donation “On behalf of everyone at iSight Cornwall, I would like to say a huge thank you for your £1,000 donation. With the number of people affected by sight loss in Cornwall rising every day, our services are needed now more than ever before – but we cannot do what we do without the support and generosity of local businesses and organisations such as yourselves. Your donation will enable us to continue to provide practical advice and emotional support for other people in Cornwall living with sight loss.”
