Aspects Holidays support the RNLI

This year, Aspects Holidays chosen charity is the RNLI lifeboat station in St Ives. We are extremely proud to be supporting such a fantastic Cornish charity that provides so much to those not only on sea, but also on land.

Part of our donation to the lifeboat station has already been used to fund 35 brand new jackets for the RNLI volunteers with the remainder helping to fund the £1 million launch and recovery vehicle for its new Shannon class lifeboat.

The jackets were unveiled at the Lifeboat Station ‘Support Our Station’ day last Saturday which raised £2,560. There was a car wash, coffee and cake sales and tombola and soup stalls, which all helped to raise the total amount.

The St Ives Lifeboat Station, on Wharf Road in St Ives, has been established for 165 years and has a remarkable history of bravery, having received more than 55 awards for gallantry.
