There is nothing more fun for kids than a visit to Holywell Bay Fun Park. With free entry, free parking and over 25 rides and attractions, it’s a great day out. Dogs can’t actually go on the rides but it gives Mum an excuse to watch from the sidelines, and with various restaurants, an 18 hole golf course and an ice cream parlour, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained!
Holywell Bay Beach
After a morning at Holywell Bay Fun Park why not visit Holywell Bay Beach? Moments away from the fun park and perfect for dogs all year round, Holywell Bay is a large stretch of sand where dogs can run free, bound around with a ball, meet other furry friends and perhaps even enjoy a paddle! At low tide, the beach is a mile long and the family can enjoy a bucket and spade day out with the dog in tow!
Crantock Beach
If your dog loves beaches as much as he loves a Bonio then we have to recommend Crantock Beach! Voted Best British Beach by BBC Coast 2013, this golden sand beach is perfect for a family day out.

Fistral Beach
We couldn’t mention dog friendly beaches in Newquay without featuring Fistral Beach. Fistral is famous for it’s furry fans and the perfect place to throw a ball, chase the waves or run the entire stretch of sand. Famous for being one of the best surfing beaches in the UK, Fistral holds all of the iconic events such as the English National Surfing Championships and Boardmasters, the largest surf and skate festival in Europe. Walking distance to the town centre, close to cliff paths and many restaurants, bars and cafes, this is heaven for dogs in Newquay!
