Set in a rural idyll on a working cattle farm in the village of Mawgan, this is a delightful destination for your Cornwall holiday. The cows enjoy grazing on the farmland in the summer and are in the sheds behind the barns in the winter months, so you might hear a gentle lowing from time to time. Mawgan has a fabulous pub nearby, The Ship, which is a great spot for a delicious meal and drinks and don't forget Gear Farm pasties, which are a must, and also try Gwella Dairy ice-cream too - there's so much local produce to choose from. The village shop is just a short stroll away, and if you fancy heading out for a walk, the pretty banks of the Helford and Tremayne Quay are nearby.
