Set in a rural location, on a working cattle farm in the village of Mawgan, this is a delightful place for your Cornwall holiday. With cows grazing on the farmland in the summer and in the sheds behind the barns in the winter months, you might hear a gentle lowing from time to time. Mawgan has a fabulous pub nearby, The Ship, which is a great spot for a delicious meal and drinks and don't forget Gear Farm pasties, which are a must, and also try Gwella Dairy ice-cream too - there's so much local produce to choose from. The village shop is just a short stroll away, and if you fancy heading out for a walk, the pretty banks of the Helford and Tremayne Quay are nearby.
If you're looking to explore more of Cornwall, you're certainly in a great location to do so! The popular village of Porthleven is nearby, with a fantastic selection of coffee shops and eateries, and beautiful Mullion Cove is well worth a visit during your stay. A little further afield, you will find the cheerful town of Falmouth with its wonderful restaurants, pretty golden sand beaches and laid-back atmosphere. There's plenty to see and do on your Cornwall holiday, whether you're searching for a relaxing escape to the countryside or are planning a week jam-packed with activities.
