Carbis bay good location for access to surrounding attractions

Very spacious and well equipped property. Situated very close to the beach and the train station - useful if you don't fancy the lovely walk to St. Ives. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with wonderful sea views. Apartment had everything we needed and was so easy to get the train into town. Thank you for a lovely stay we would stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times and the apartment is first class, home from home, perfectly positioned to explore Cornwall, what’s not to like.

We had a lovely holiday in Carbis Bay. The apartment was very comfortable and warm. The rooms and kitchen were all well equipped and the addition of a smart tv was a bonus. The apartment is in a great location, being walking distance from the train station and the beach. We would definitely book again and would recommend to others

A wonderful stay at Oceana. The property is in a fantastic location, peaceful and quiet with direct access to Carbis Bay railway station. Modern fixtures and fittings in the kitchen and both bathrooms. Already looking at availability for next year

Loved everything about the apartment and it's location! The apartment had everything we needed and more besides, family friendly, the beds were very comfortable and the view was stunning.

The kettle stopped working a couple of days in to the holiday, but after sending a quick email, a replacement was brought over straight away. Superb customer service. Would definitely book through Aspects again. Great company and fab accommodation.

We loved this spacious and comfortable apartment. I will always remember the views from the kitchen in the morning and the sunsets from the patio. Very handy for trains and buses in both directions. Walking to St Ives takes about 35 minutes by road or the coastal path. Carbis Bay beach is beautiful. We would recommend Gwithian Towans beach just past Hayle for its warm rock pools.

Fantastic location, apartment well fitted out, home from home, handy for the railway station and busses

Great apartment with a fab location. Lovely and spacious. The apartment had the best kitted out kitchen I’ve ever seen. Would definitely return

Apartment very well equipped and in a good location.

Have rented Oceans for holidays since 2016. Lovely apartment and excellent location, if you want a nice quite holiday. Train station only 5 minutes away with a 3 minute journey into St. Ives. Highly recommend.

Good views,Central location ,easy access to the busses the bus service is second to none into St I've ,truro and penzance.

We had a wonderful time at 4 Riveria Apartments. As soon as we walked in the door we were impressed by the layout, cleanliness and all the facilities. The apartment was in a great location with views to die for.

We would not hesitate to recommend it and hope to return again.

We have booked this apartment several times since 2016 and just love it. Comfortable, spacious with excellent views over St Ives bay.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Views were amazing. Carbis bay beach is beautiful and just on the door step. The viewS from the train to St Ives is spectacular. Overall we had a wonderful time. Thanks.

First class apartment, fantastic location,we are back next May can't wait .

Lovely bright, tastefully furnished appartment with excellent space and facilities in top location.

Fantastic holiday and location. Apartment was clean, modern and had lots of the things we needed for a smooth holiday with 3 small children (including a travel cot and high chair). Fabulous location for walking to the beach (as long as you don’t mind a bit of a hill!) with a super sea view. Short 5 minute journey to the shops and supermarket in a car. Also very near to the train station for quick, picturesque journey to St Ives. Convenient parking space and clear instructions for every aspect of staying in the apartment.

We had a lovely stay at Carbis Bay despite the showery weather. The apartment was very clean and bright, tastefully decorated and well equipped with lovely views over to the sea.

It is very central and easy to visit the beach below and St Ives. The walks along the coastal paths and views are stunning - it's well worth walking along to Porth Kidney beach in one direction and St Ives in the other.

Some fabulous places to visit are Godrevy, St Ives, Porthcunio, Cape Cornwall, Cot Nanven and Lands' End, Mousehole, Porthleven and Trebah gardens (best in Spring). There is an abundance of art and craft galleries all around the area each showing an eclectic mix of styles. You will be spoilt for choice when looking for somewhere to eat!

I love this part of Cornwall.

We had another excellent stay at Riviera Apartments . The area is beautiful and we enjoyed lovely walks with our little dog on the beaches at St Ives and Hayle. We were particularly delighted to see large numbers of seals enjoying the surf especially at a small cove near Godrevy Lighthouse.

Terrific apartment; great views and extremely comfortable. Have re-booked for May 2019, which will be our sixth stay at Oceana. Can't praise it highly enough and aspects are great to deal with.

4 Riviera Apartments, Oceana is a lovely well appointed property. It is comfortable and modern. The furnishings, beds, bathrooms and kitchen are all high spec. There is plenty of storage and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need for a beach holiday. The position of the apartment is very good in a private area. We found noise from the apartment above at times became tiresome. The sea is five minutes away if you wanted to use the car however parking is tight as the hotel is still building luxury apartments and other buildings. The hill down to the beach we lovingly call 'cardiac hill' can be a challenge and not for the faint hearted; but well worth it as Carbis bay is lovely. One of our family members hired No. 4 the previous year and we had visited them there; we decided to book this apartment as soon as we received a wedding invitation to the Carbis Bay Hotel. Very glad we did.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are glad to hear how much you liked 4 Riviera Apartments, and how much you enjoy visiting Carbis Bay. The parking down at the beach, has been a little tricky recently, as you mention, with the building works taking place at the hotel; it is not too far to walk to the beach from the apartment though, but like you also rightly say, is a bit of a steep slope to contend with on the way back (your nickname for it certainly gave us a giggle here)! Thanks for also letting us know about noise from the apartment upstairs; that isn't something that has been mentioned before, so hopefully it was a one-off, but we will continue to monitor any further feedback on this. Thanks again and hopefully we will see you back here soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Stay at Oceana twice a year and can't praise it highly enough for the quality of accommodation and the spacious rooms, as well as the lovely sea views. Will keep coming back.

The most wonderful location for a holiday and a very well equipped apartment. Light and airy and a perfect place to holiday. Right by the coastal path for a great walk into st Ives or, going the other way, a long walk to the breathtaking beach of porthkidney sands! I have stayed here five times and wish it could be a sixth but unfortunately dogs will be banned next year. Please reconsider!

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are glad to hear that you have had another lovely holiday at 4 Riviera. Unfortunately the dog ban is a management company/committee decision that applies to all of the Riviera properties, so individual owners could not overturn the decision. We really are sorry that this means that you will no longer be able to return to a property that you clearly love, but we will be sure to let you know if we hear that this decision gets overturned at any point. Hopefully we will still see you back in Carbis Bay/St Ives; and please do get in contact if we can help you in finding an alternative property for your next holiday. Tanya, Customer Services

The apartment was just perfect in every way

Property very good with absolutely everything we needed and perfect location. 2mins from railway station and 2mins from bus routes if you want to leave car in car park. Local shops in walking distance.

Had our third stay in the last eighteen months and love it every time. Location good for transport, furnished well, pooch friendly and well equipped. Coming back in April 2018

This is our second time at Oceana and have booked again. Well equipped and handy for Carbis Bay Beach and train station.

What a brilliant holiday home! Perfect location, very well equipped, couldn't really ask for more. This was my fourth stay in this apartment and it's great that it is well maintained and well decorated. This year there were new curtains and I think a new bathroom. Good that the apartment doesn't just remain the same as it always looks brand new!

Had a lovely week in a high quality apartment that was close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic location and wonderful property can't wait to re book

Apartment was beautifully decorated , extremely comfortable. Little touches were great and the view in the morning is to die for. Great location for carbis bay beach and for train. The apartment was spacious and our little boy loved that he had extra toys and DVDs to watch . Absolutely loved staying here and would totally book again.

A great location, perfectly situated for a 40 minute coastal walk into St Ives or a slightly longer coastal walk to the best beach in Cornwall, Porthkidney! This is my third stay in this property and I would definitely return. So goo that it is dog friendly and well kitted out for a week's stay. Thank you!

Beautiful views, spacious modern apartment very close to local amenities with a lovely beach a stones throw away and a short walk to the train station with a 2 minute train journey into the beautiful bay of St Ives, could not ask for a more perfect holiday

Loved the area the place was home from home, fantastic views have booked again for next year

Excellent property with everything for a perfect holiday. Close to railway station to get to St Ives or Penzance by train. Good bus service from St Ives. Lovely place for a relaxing holiday.
