We had a comfortable stay at Higher Trenoweth. Unfortunately the cottage was not quite to the standard of cleanliness we had been expecting. However there was everthing we needed for nice stay

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments about your stay at Higher Trenoweth. We are very sorry if the standard of cleanliness was not to the usual high level that you would have expected from the properties that we market; we can only apologise if any areas had been missed. We will continue to monitor this moving forward, and the property is due an annual inspection in the coming weeks. Katy, Customer Services.

Lovely home from home. There was plenty of space both inside and outside the house for four adults and our dog. Fab country views to the back and a great garden for the games or chilling.

Higher Trenoweth is a beautiful Cornish cottage with everything you will need, the garden is safe a secure for children and your furry friend with lovely views of the countryside. My 3 children loved the large garden. The whirlpool bath and downstairs shower were brilliant and the beds were so comfortable we all had the best night's sleep. The property is a short walk to Carbis Bay beach where if you are lucky you might see seals in the bay in the evenings. We had an amazing stay at this property, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely property. Great garden which was brilliant for the dog to run around in . A bit of a walk to the station at Carbis bay and quite a steep hill .

another quality property from aspects ,loved the house big private garden plenty of parking and not far from carbis bay.

A traditional cottage in a lovely location that has loads of space and excellent facilities, including a beautiful enclosed garden with fantastic views, which was very useful for an energetic dog . Very convenient location to get into St Ives either by bus or on foot. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location and comfortable cottage, aspects service is second to none and we have already booked again and recommended to our friends.

Had an enjoyable and comfortable stay great location very happy family

This is our second time staying at Higher Trenoweth and it definitely won't be our last. Very pretty and comfortable cottage with a well equipped kitchen. The garden is a great size for kids and dogs and the view from the garden is just beautiful.

This cottage has a lot to offer including a nice big garden which is great for dogs. However, there was mould in the bedroom which was very smelly and made the bedroom feel damp. It was right by where I was sleeping which made me feel very uncomfortable. When the window cleaner arrived, he opened the gate which leads to the busy main road without warning us. My dog was in the garden and could easily have escaped, this really was the last straw and I was so relieved to leave the cottage. As I said lots to offer if you don’t mind mould and damp.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry to hear that you experienced some damp in the property, had we known we would have had someone over to the property during your stay to rectify these issues to make your stay more comfortable. Here in Cornwall, we experience warm, humid conditions, and the combination of being so close to the sea and the nature of the materials commonly used in buildings here can make some properties susceptible to damp. It's a shame to hear about your experience with the window cleaner opening the gate. Although many of our properties are advertised as dog friendly, this does not mean the garden will be fully secure, though we always try to give as much information as possible in the property description and photos. Katy, Customer Services.

Another lovely stay at Higher Trenoweth. The house was lovely and clean on arrival.

Higher Trenoweth is a lovely holiday home. It has everything you need and is very cosy. Close enough to St Ives to walk in on the beautiful coastal path, but isolated enough for peace and quiet. This was our third visit. Highly recommend.

Lovely location, fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting. Very spacious, comfortable beds and furnishings. We had a really lovely week here, if only we could buy it!

Would recommend the cottage to any family size. We will definitely be booking again.

Excellent property

Overall a beautiful property in a stunning landscape with some very pretty touches throughout. It is perfect for a family holiday

Really pretty cottage with a great sized garden and a nice view. Nice location, 40 mins walk (or 5 min drive) into St Ives but out of town so very peaceful at night. 30 mins walk to Porthkidney Sands which is a great beach for dogs. There is traffic noise in the day, but this didn't bother us. We will definitely book again.

This was our second stay at this cottage and I hope it wont be our last. Our first stay was 2 years ago just before lockdown so we had to leave early. The cottage is very comfortable without been excessively modernised, but also has everything to make your stay very relaxing whether you are eating out or preparing your own food. Loads of space. There were only the two of us, but this would be an excellent property for a large family or two families sharing and has a fantastic garden to sit out / for children to play. St Ives is easily accessible by public transport too. will be back!

A well equipped and comfortable cottage with a great garden overlooking fields very conveniently located on the main road to St Ives. Very handy for buses to St Ives and Penzance as well as having easy access to local beaches

Had a super time at Higher Trenoweth, with everything we needed to help make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Cottage was lovely and comfortable and we loved the whirlpool bath especially after a long day walking on the SW coast path! Under floor heating in kitchen was great and bed was super comfy. Would highly recommend this cottage. We loved every minute.

This was our 3rd winter stay at Higher Trenoweth and enjoyed it very much, once again. We love this location and property as is close to St.Ives but far enough out that you can get more space for your money. Also there was only 2 of us and our baby which helps in a 6 bed although there is certainly enough space for 6. The coastal walk, train (£1 per person each way) or drive to St. Ives all comfortably manageable. The property is lovely and accommodates all of our needs, including this time bringing a 5 month old and space enough for all the baby related kit brought with us. The log burner is great and provides a cosy setting to relax in.
The kitchen is large and well equipped. The whirlpool bath is great aswell to unwind in.
The floors hadn’t been cleaned this time around which although not ideal didn’t take long to rectify ourselves and given the high standard of cleanliness throughout the rest of the property, was likely a one time error from the cleaners. We will definitely be planning our 4th trip back this his property. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We are so sorry if this was missed. We will make sure that this feedback is passed on to the housekeeping team for this property; thank you so much for letting us know. We are glad to hear that you had another lovely stay at this property, and we look forward to seeing you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Good place to stay, great big garden for dogs to run around in. Lelant train station 8 mins away and no parking charge if you find a space. So easy way to get in and out of St Ives with dogs and kids.

Lovely cottage with a great garden and ideally situated, 40 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride to St Ives. 25 minute walk to Porthkidney beach which is vast and great for dog walkers.

Returning to this lovely cottage made a great holiday. Good location, sitting outside looking out across the fields is a very nice way to begin or end the day. Well equipped and very comfortable. Booked in for next year too!

Higher Trenoweth is an ideal holiday cottage its so well equiped with everything you need .The garden is fantastic for children and so safe .You wont find anywhere better to stay with your family .

Second visit and just as magical as the first beautiful cottage great base and every pot pan utensil you could possibly need , Hoping to book again in the future and relax on a very spacious enclosed back garden safe for children and small dog the charm out ways the slight traffic noise which at times can be busy.

This was an amazing cottage for a family holiday. It is in perfect location for popping into St Ives or just strolling along the beach. The garden space for the children was amazing, we would book this property up again and again.

Really good stay in Carbis Bay. Lovely house with a fantastic garden for the kids and dog. Great location just a 15 minute walk to Lelant or Carbis Bay. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful property spoiled by infestation of ants in the kitchen.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were sorry to hear about the ants. Unfortunately, no matter how clean and tidy a place is kept, they can and will still find their way into properties sometimes. If ever anything like this is reported, we will always do what we can to help in getting rid of them. I can't see any notes that it was reported, so we are so sorry if we had not had the chance to do something to help. We are glad to hear that you had liked the property and we hope that you enjoyed the fantastic location. Tanya, Customer Services

If you like cottage charm with privacy and plenty of outdoor space, then we can highly recommend Higher Trenoweth. We would certainly go back and recommend to friends and family.

Another great stay, a home from home.

Higher Trenoweth is a lovely property, well equipped and comfortable. Great location. Would highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable house, very clean and well equipped, has everything you could need. Plenty of parking, big and secure garden safe for pets and children.

Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden for children and dining out weather permitting and good parking space which is a premium in this location

This was our second time staying at Higher Trenoweth and as expected, it did not disappoint. It’s a real home from home and fully equipped to manage family living. The beds are really comfortable, meaning the dreamiest of sleeps. The garden is fantastic, well secured and huge so our children and dog could play and run around for hours tiring themselves out. In summary we’ve had the most amazing stay. We’re already booked up for text year and we’re counting down already!

I absolutely love this cottage and everything about it. It is furnished to a very high standard and the kitchen has every gadget and appliance you could need - it's like a home from home. The large garden is such a bonus and amazing for anyone with a dog, mine loved to sit outside or roaming around when the weather permitted. This is my second time at Higher Trenoweth and I will definitely be returning!

We found Higher Trenoweth to be a spacious cottage with comfortable furnishings. Loved the under floor heating in the kitchen (it was October).Everything is provided in the property to have an enjoyable stay. Very good wifi and phone signals. Outside is a fantastic enclosed garden with great country views, with a good amount of parking where if you wish you can park just outside the back door which I like. We found it a great base to explore from and would recommend to others.

Very nice, comfortable house, very well appointed with everything you could need. Lovely garden.

Good Base for exploring. The road can be a bit noisy.

A beautiful cottage full of charm in a lovely place,Well situated to visit all the bottom end of cornwall carbis bay beach a must , All the utensils you could possibly need to cook anything even bake a cake.

Great property within easy reach of the fabulous Porthkidney beach and St Ives.

We had a wonderful week's holiday staying at Higher Trenoweth near Carbis Bay in May 2109. A beautiful characterful property with wonderful gardens and fabulous far reaching views. Highly recommended.

A lovely comfortable family cottage, comfy beds and sofas and nice underfloor heating in the kitchen.

Fabulous cottage with everything you need home from home.Perfect in every way with a safe and fantastic garden for children to play.No need to go anywhere if you dont want to just sit back and chill .

A cosy cottage, full of charm with beautiful views from the large back garden and although close to the main road, it was quiet during the night.

Beautiful cottage with fantastic garden area for the children!

Highly recommended. We like to vary where we holiday each year but if we come back with our grandchildren and their parents this would be our number one choice

What a truly wonderful place to stay, large garden for both dogs and children, and within easy distance to St Ives. A brisk walk takes you to the beautiful beach at Carbis Bay.

We had a lovely Easter break in the cottage which is very located mid-way between Lelant and Carbis Bay. The cottage itself is comfortable and we had a very relaxing time. It was also ideal for the dog who loved the garden and walks on the beach.

Higher Trenoweth is an absolutely stunning cottage with bags of room for 4-6 adults. We spent a week there for my sisters wedding and had the whole family round for meals as we had the most room and it was lovely. The location was great too although its on the main road, but the fact that it's secluded and detached more than made up for any traffic noise. I shall certainly miss that great kitchen diner and the big range cooker! Definately worth a stay :)
