Minack Theatre
Built in to the cliff face at Porthcurno, the world famous Minack Theatre runs outdoor performances from May to September attracting many who wishing for an ‘al fresco’ theatrical experience with the most beautiful back drop of the sea and sunset. This world-renowned theatre is truly a theatre under the stars. It was built by hand by Rowena Cade and her gardener Billy Rawlings and Tom Angove. The story of how the theatre came about is a tribute to one woman’s vision. Rowena died in 1983. The theatre has undergone technical modifications to cope with the increased audience numbers. However, it is still a truly unique and magical place, with seats carved into the cliffs and a stunning backdrop and sea views. Places to visit near Porthcurno

Treen
Conveniently located for cliff walking and bird watching, Treen is just a short walk away from the secluded sandy beaches of Porthcurno.

Logan Rock
Logan Rock, meaning 'balanced stone' is also closeby. This granite boulder weighing approximately 80 tonnes, could once be rocked by applying just a little pressure. The story goes that it was once dislodged in 1824 by a group of British seamen wishing to show their skill and courage. Outraged by this, the local residents insisted the rock was replaced, as it had become a local landmark. Ironically this was a much more challenging feat, taking 60 men, 7 months to complete. Logan's Rock still moves today, but with much less ease than it once did.

Dating back over 400 years, the Logan Rock Inn serves good food and beer and offers a friendly, country-pub atmosphere.

Penberth Cove
Home to a small fishing fleet, Penberth Cove is nearby and provides the perfect place to relax in a tranquil setting. Ideal for a spot of birdwatching or simply enjoying the scenery.

Clean, well equipped apartment in an excellent location for the beach, the coast path and the Minack theatre. We will be back next year.

Second visit. left review in visitors book, we found our review from 2018

This is a stunning property with a view you can get lost in. The location is great for the Minack Theatre and for one of the most gorgeous beaches in the UK. There is plenty of space in the apartment for a family of four (and a dog)… it is well equipped and comfortably furnished. Would definitely stay here again.

As always, It's been a total pleasure with the fabulous, amazing Aspects. From the ease of booking with everyone at Aspects, who not only always exceed expectations but always, ALWAYS go above & beyond. Lovely Sarah gave extra help & advice about the area and where the property is as it was our very first time going to Porthcurno.....which.....may I say.......IS BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL and just as always, is better than being anywhere in the world with the added Cornish charm & beauty. The property is cosy & homely with everything needed for a perfect, relaxing holiday with a well equipped kitchen to enjoy family meals together after a wonderful day at the beach, minnack theatre or telegraph museum. The extra thoughtful touches in the generous welcome box were so appreciated especially the lovely colouring books for the children, big pot of sweeties and a lovely stick of rock on each pillow, THANK YOU! It was also very lovely that there was a selection of beach toys & equipment that we were allowed to use. Having a meal outside on the balcony with breathtaking views and watching the Scillonian returning, was also an added bonus. The property is perfectly positioned for ease of access for not only the beach (the hill for us was nothing at all, although we do live in Cornwall but was expecting it to be much steeper & longer) but also just minutes away from the spectacular Minnack Theatre, which was lovely to watch a show, AMAZING! Also the Telegraph Museum was AWESOME, so interesting & entertainment and is an open year admission. Next time we will walk the coastal path to Porthchapel Beach, as well as a trip to the Deli Restaurant in Mousehole. I also recommend the Coaster Bus to travel from Penzance to Porthcurno, which has stunning views & landmarks along the way. I could go on and on about this amazing place! We cannot WAIT to go again next year! THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE AT ASPECTS, I WONT EVER USE ANY OTHER COMPANY, OUT OF PRINCIPLE! YOU REALLY ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THE BEST!!!!!!

This was our first time in Logan's Reach and we loved the location close to the beach, coastal path and Minack Theatre. Views are outstanding - the window seat was always in use and definitely our favourite bit of the apartment!

Logans Reach is in a great location for the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno beach and the South West Coast path. It is a cosy apartment nicely furnished with great views.

Logans Reach is in a beautiful location and has great views from the main bedroom and living area. Very comfortable accommodation and tastefully decorated by the owners. We have stayed before and will be returning. The hill down to the beach is a little step but short, the bay is so quiet and beautiful early in the morning. Truly great spot . Great cafe also.

Another wonderful stay at Logan’s Reach. A perfect apartment to explore the South West. Highly recommended…

Felt like a home from home! Instantly settled into this lovely peaceful and cosy property, extremely well kitted out kitchen with washer and dryer as well as fridge and freezer which was really useful for a self catering set up. And thank you to aspects and housekeeping for recovering the bracelet that I left there by mistake.

Great apartment with perfect sea views. Enjoyed every morning sat outside with a cup of coffee looking out to the most gorgeous Beach. Fitness levels improved massively by the end of the week with what I would call a ramblers paradise.

We had a fantastic break at Logan’s Reach. It really is in a spectacular location; very well placed to enjoy the coastal path walks and stunning beach within minutes of the apartment. The property has everything you need as a home from home. The amazing view makes it extra special!

Logan’s Reach is a wonderful apartment set within a stunning coastal location. This was my third stay at Logan’s Reach. Having stayed in two other more expensive apartments within the complex, I’ve always enjoyed my time here more. The Wi-Fi is super fast and reliable which in a remote area where mobile signal is weak, is a real plus. The apartment is fully equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. A perfect base to explore the far west areas of Cornwall. Highly recommended…

Comfortable and well equipped apartment in a great location. Well equipped kitchen and with good washer/drier and dishwasher. Was very comfortable for two of us.

A fabulous location for easy access to some wonderful iconic places such as the Minack Theatre, PK Museum & the glorious Porthcurno beach Also close to great villages such as Mousehole & the town of Newlyn for fantastic fresh fish Would thoroughly recommend Logan’s Reach to anyone wanting a choice location in Cornwall

Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location! Sitting outside with a cool drink looking at the sea view made our holiday! Clean and tidy and equipped with everything you’ll need on holiday. Thank you!

Fabulous time at Logans reach, very comfortable accommodation, spectacular views. Stunning coastal walks on your doorstep. Tesco delivers, very handy as only a cafe in Porthcurno. Great shower, lovely decor very tasteful, with great local paintings. We were welcomed by a Cornish cream tea, a great start.

An amazing property in an amazing situation. Well equipped and very comfortable. Highly recommended

fabulous apartment in a stunning location lovely walks with the dog and a beach picture perfect

A well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished apartment. The afternoon tea ready to greet us on arrival was just lovely. Great views and only a 5 minute walk to the beach one way and the Minack Theatre the other. We went out of season so the cafe was closed and unfortunately, the village pub is no longer operating but a quick drive to the Logan’s Rock pub fills that need. Great walks nearby (although watch out for the steep climbs!) and some stunning beaches within easy driving distance. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at Logans view for a week 3 of us , lovely view, pretty quiet apartment groung floor, nice small terrace, bbq area isn't by you its over the road not practical. Porthcurno is lovely and we enjoyed our stay , but were older and it was to hilly .

Great position for the beach and Minack theatre. It was a comfortable apartment with fantastic views. Walk to the beach is about 15 minutes, down a what was a very busy road at times because it was narrow and not enough room for cars to pass ( road bit is about 5 mins). Currently as of mid July 2021 the pub in the village is closed but there is a small cafe. If you are looking for fish and chips try Sennen Cove.

Perfect position. View amazing and so well situated for the telegraph museum and the Minack Theatre. Both are in easy walking distance. The cafe 100 yds down the hill serves good quality food

Excellent location with a beautiful view over the bay. Apartment perhaps a little smaller than we were expecting but lovely nevertheless. Very comfortable beds and excellent shower! Note that currently the pub in Porthcurno is still closed. Lovely walk over to Logan's Rock Inn though, with excellent food and beer.

What a location! Perfect for the beach, the cafe, walks, the museum and the amazing Minack Theatre! We barely left Porthcurno all week. Thank you. We will be back!

Logan's Reach is a lovely, well maintained and charmingly decorated flat with beautiful views over Porthcurno Beach. It is ideally situated to watch the sun come up and the tide roll out and back in throughout the day. There is a lovely patio table and chairs to sit and have breakfast, lunch or dinner and take in the fresh sea air. Just a two minute walk from the beach cafe offers the luxury of grabbing a quick lunch while you sit outside to eat or to grab a sandwich or ice cream before you head to the beach. Overall this is a stellar little property for a visit to Cornwall and we highly recommend it.

Another perfect stay at Logan’s Reach. Wonderful accommodation with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, all set in a stunning location with the most amazing coastal views. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful break at Logan’s View. It’s warm, welcoming and comfortable even in gale force winds! It was very clean and Covid-secure when we arrived. Beds and sofa are very comfortable and the kids appreciated the Smart TV. Special shout-out for the awesome shower! I will definitely miss watching the ever changing view from the window seat.

Fantastic property, in an amazing location! Aspects provided excellent service throughout. Thank you and will definitely return.

Beautiful apartment, with wonderful views out towards a stunning coastline. Ideal for those wanting to escape and relax, perfectly positioned for the SW coastal path. Would highly recommend and would definitely like to return in the future ??

Lovely apartment which is in a fabulous location for the coast path and Porthcurno beach.

An excellent apartment in a wonderful position.

An immaculate, well equipped property with stunning sea views. We particularly appreciated the artwork, rainforest shower, underfloor heating and delicious cream tea on arrival.

Great views over one of the best beaches we have found.

You will not be disappointed by the position of this appartment. Excellent view and so close to a spectacular beach. A well appointed appartment with excellent dining facilities and comfortable beds. Short walk to Minack theatre.

Perfect in every way! Absolutely stunning location it hard to believe you’re still in the UK with the view from the apartment!

A lovely, comfortable apartment with stunning views

Lovely apartment and terrace with fantastic views. Well equipped and comfortable. Barbecue area was also a nice addition and we enjoyed using this.

A beautifully appointed warm clean and comfortable apartment with amazing views. The artwork adds to the overall feel and we loved the flat.

There is good w fi to stay in touch with friends and family, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Plenty of towels and a cream tea awaiting you...

We had in Logan's Reach wonderful holidays and we really can recommend the property. The furniture was very good and it was all there we needed, although we had some little problems at the beginning of our stay, but we think thats normal. These problems were solved quickly and the service was fast and effective. For the next stay in Cornwall we would use again aspects-holidays for it. Many greetings from germany, Family Raabe and dog Frieda :-)

Thank you!

Spectacular views and with easy access to the MInack Theatre and the Telegraph Museum. The latter explains the largely unknown but vitally important and fascinating history that Porthcurno had in the world's communications network.

A beautiful apartment in a stunning location. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Our batteries are well and truly recharged!

Logans Reach - set in a magical location - the views of Porthcurno beach are stunning both day and night. Being next to the Minack Theare is just perfect. What a beautiful place. Tastefully decorated apartment and very comfortable. We would return. Our a Springer Spaniel thought it was great! ?? Thank you
