Shopping in St Ives

Perched above Porthminster Beach in a prime position, with views that stretch out as far as the eye can see, View for Shore promises an unforgettable stay. A modern contemporary house, sleeping up to six guests over three floors, the house offers reverse level accommodation to make the most of its elevated position above the shimmering waters of St Ives Bay. The spacious, light filled, and sociable open plan living area takes pride of place, with the floor to ceiling bi-fold doors perfectly framing the stunning vista, allowing you to escape the busy harbourfront and relax with a breath-taking backdrop, a wonderful place for al fresco dining. The main living area has access to a beautiful balcony with views toward St Ives Bay. As you would expect, the kitchen is well-stocked, with plenty of space for holiday treats, the dining area is just off the kitchen with space for all the family, whether dining or playing a board game or two. After a day of exploring the Cornish coastline and enjoying the fresh sea air, guests have the choice of three bedrooms, two of which have zip n link beds, offering versatile sleeping arrangements, with the master featuring an en suite and Juliet balcony. The property benefits from a further snug come office/games room, opening onto a garden terrace. On the private development, there is access to a communal garden with views across to Godrevy.
Although it will be hard to tear yourself away from View for Shore, within a five-minute walk, via the coastal path, a day spent on the fabulous Porthminster beach will delight children and adults alike, with its crystal-clear waters, fine white sands, and excellent beach facilities. A little further on you will find the vibrant harbourfront with its cobbled streets, narrow lanes and an eclectic mix of shops, galleries and eating places. If travelling by car, you have the bonus of private gated parking for two vehicles a few yards from your front door, meaning you can park up, then come and go with ease.

From the main hallway stairs lead up to the kitchen/dining/sitting room. From the main hallway stairs also lead down to bedroom 3, where you will find a snug/office on the lower floor.

Lovely property with fantastic panoramic view to St. Ives and out to the Atlantic & Godrevy lighthouse. Well equipped kitchen and super comfortable sofas and beds. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely holiday home. Lovely flowers & cream tea on arrival were a welcome treat!
