Lovely, comfortable and well-equipped house in a fantastic location, with plenty of room for all the family. It wasn't our first stay and we can't wait to visit again.

A lovely spacious house with high ceilings and all the lovely Victorian details still intact. All the home comforts you need and only a short walk into the centre of town. Great view from the front windows and a parking space opposite the house. Couldn’t really ask for more :)

Amazing large comfortable house with lovely kitchen and great outside space considering it's in central St Ives.
Mrs Sugrue Sep 2023
Lovely house with amazing view across St Ives, location wad perfect with just a short walk until in the centre of St Ives cobbled streets, parking space was helpful ,
Miss Hutchings Jun 2023
14 Carrack Dhu is a lovely house in a brilliant location, right in the centre of town but still easy to drive to, with amazing views and very comfy beds.
Things we enjoyed: - body boarding at Porthmeor Beach - eating Harbour Fish and Chips - eating pasties (the cauliflower and onion bhaji one from The Cornish Bakehouse was a revelation) - shopping - playing cricket on Porthgwidden Beach - getting the train to Lelant and walking back along the coastal path via Carbis Bay - playing games around the kitchen table at 14 Carrack Dhu - waking up to the lovely views

Perfect stay to watch the sunrise. Good location and has a parking space which is brilliant. The garden area is lovely and I’m sure is perfect in the summer. We just felt it needed a little modernising furnishings wise this is more in the bedrooms, to reflect the cost of the property. Not sure how two families would fair in this property, we are only a family of 4 and struggled to wash after the beach as no separate bathrooms.

A lovely house in a fantastic location, and the service from Aspects was excellent.
Mrs Goom Jul 2022
Excellent location! Great, large house! Amazing to have a parking space included!
Miss Lockett Jul 2022
Carrack Dhu is a beautiful holiday home situated in the quiet back streets of St Ives. With fantastic views across St Ives and it's bay, the house is a quick five minute walk to all of the facilities. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a perfect, relaxing break.
Mrs Hieatt Apr 2022
Excellent stay with extended family at Christmas, the house is very well equipped and spacious enough for all 7 of us
Mr Wright Dec 2021
It was our second holiday at 14 Carrack Dhu it is the perfect house for a family holiday in St Ives.
It has lovely sized rooms, a beautiful garden and even the luxury of a personal parking space which are gold dust when parking in St Ives. The hills make good exercise when returning to house after an ice cream or a pasty at beach.
Would highly recommend 14 Carrck Dhu.
Mrs Storr Jun 2021
Superb property ideally located and catered for the whole of the family. Top loft room brilliant for three growing boys and the view from the main bedroom fantastic
Mr Thorley Apr 2021
Lovely location and convenient for going down the front, apart from the climb back up the hill. Beautiful views from front bedroom window. Very good for having it’s own parking space. Love St Ive’s, will always come back again.
Mrs Bridges Oct 2020
If you want to be close to all the amenities that St Ives has to offer, this is a great property. Parking space is invaluable but caution the steep and narrow approach to the property.
Walking distance to town, beaches and the South West Coastal path - all of which are fantastic.
This is a large property with one bathroom so bear that in mind but overall this was a very comfortable and very convenient property for a great holiday in St Ives.
Mrs. Hutchings Aug 2020
Beautiful clean large family home, this did not have the feel of a holiday let, lots of personal touches and good quality fixtures and fittings, beds were very comfortable, much closer to the town than we expected, easy walk down, good exercise on the way back, perfect for two families, loads of games and books; we loved it
Mrs Wallhead Sep 2019
Lovely property for large family. Be aware it’s hilly and lacks curtains!

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your time here. Unfortunately, much of St Ives is hilly and so most properties will have a bit of an uphill walk back to them at the end of your busy day out exploring, unless you choose one of the properties right in the heart of the town, but then you may be compromising on other areas like space, parking, outdoor areas for example. So we hope that you didn't mind the walk back in order to benefit from all that nice space on offer at this property. With regards to the lack of curtains, the owners of this property liked and opted for blinds in most rooms as opposed to curtains, which may not be to everyone's preference, but we have passed on your feedback to them, for their consideration. Thank you for taking the time to send in your feedback and we hope to see you again soon. Tanya, Customer Services
Had a wonderful stay in St Ives and will return next year. The views from the house and its proximity to the town and beaches made our holiday.
Mrs Thornton Jul 2019
We had a lovely stay in this family friendly home. Although up a hill there were various routes into St Ives town and harbour and it was great to be so close to all amenities. We loved the sea views, garden and the cosy aga.
Mrs Forde Jun 2019
Excellent location for walking to the beach and into St Ives. A nice light bright house with very comfortable beds.
Mrs Gibson Apr 2019
Lovely large house which is very close to the harbour. The view of St Ives is fantastic!
Mr Price Oct 2018
Spacious house for a large family, giving the teenagers to chill and down time plus the master bedroom and its views at sunrise and night time you can just sit and watch!
Mr Thorley Apr 2018
We love this house! So well equipped it feels like home. Great location close to shops and restaurants but spacious enough to cook and eat in the large kitchen/ diner. Great views from garden terrace and upstairs bedrooms.
Mrs Hedger Sep 2017
Perfect location only 5 mins walk to St Ives centre. House was great size for the 7 of us and very comfortable with everything you would need. Please note only 1 car park space which doesn't help with 2 families.

Thank you for your comments, it's lovely to read how much you enjoyed 14 Carrack Dhu. Unfortunately there is only 1 parking space there; but do not hesitate to contact the team for advise on the closest public car parks if ever you are bringing a second car. We hope that we will see you back here again soon, and thanks again for taking the time to send in your comments. Tanya, Customer Services
Comfortably furnished. Excellent kitchen for families. Excellent main bedroom with wonderful views
Mrs Leather Dec 2015
A comfortable, spacious house in an excellent location. close to lovely beaches as well as the town centre but nice and quiet (except for the sound of seagulls!). Being St Ives you need to be prepared for walking up hill to get back to the house.
