Lobster Pot, Crab Rock
The Warren, St Ives

£535 - £1486 per week
Book

Located right on the water's edge, Lobster Pot at Crab Rock is a cosy, duplex, apartment offering stunning, uninterrupted, sea and harbour views. The two bedrooms both have private showers, so are ideal for a family or friends to enjoy time away together. You will feel like you're in your own slice of paradise as you relax in the window seat with a good book; open up the windows and take in the fresh sea air as you listen to the waves lapping back and forth over the rocks below. Perfectly situated, you can wander around to St Ives harbour, and all it has to offer with restaurants, shops, bars and boutiques, or take a stroll across Porthminster beach and its golden sands and clear blue waters reaching out beyond Godrevy Lighthouse. You can spend the day topping up your tan, perfecting your paddle boarding skills, or getting the group together for a fun game of mini golf, before enjoying a bite to eat at the popular beachside restaurant.

PLEASE NOTE: Scaffolding is up at an adjoining property for maintenance work. No work is taking place on Lobster Pot, Crab Rock itself, but you may be able to see the edges of the scaffolding when looking out of the lower bedroom window, and the sea-facing emergency exit door. This is expected to be up for the rest of 2024. If you have any questions at all, please contact the Customer Services team.

Unfortunately due to the location of this apartment being on the water's edge, it is not suitable for young children or those with respiratory or mobility issues. Older children staying in the property must be supervised by an adult when outside. Please note that the shower enclosures are located in the actual bedrooms not in a separate en suite. There is one WC at the property. No children under 10, WiFi, short breaks available.

A lovely property with an amazing sea view. Very neat and tidy with everything you need. Ideal for the beaches, shops and restaurants which are all just a short walk away. We parked at the Rugby Club for the week (£50) and then got a taxi down to the railway station car park to unload (don't make the taxi go along the Warren - it's very narrow and they have to try and avoid the pedestrians!). The beds were super comfortable. The only problem you will have is who sits in the window seat looking at the sea, St Ives harbour and all the wildlife -we had a seal swimming just below :-) Would definitely stay here again.

A conservation area and one of the oldest corners of St Ives, The Warren is full of Cornish charm and time-honoured character. Explore the whimsical lanes, lined with old fisherman's cottages, located moments from the iconic harbour.

With Porthminster and the Harbour beaches and plenty of shops, galleries and restaurants just a stroll away, it's a wonderful location for a quintessential stay in St Ives.

Lovely cottage over looking the harbour. Perfect for watching the tide go out and coming back.

This was a return visit to this property and it was just as stunning as our first. The views are amazing and it is so quiet other than the sound of the waves. It was spotlessly clean; the housekeeper does a super job. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable accommodation with restful colours. Proximity to sea and view of harbour is fantastic

Amazing views from this lovely property and waking up to the sound of the waves is something special. Close to all the amenities but tucked away in a peaceful location. Spotlessly clean and conveniently located to the nearby Station Car Park.

Probably the most beautiful spot in St Ives. Just be aware there are some steep steps down to the front door.

It is certainly an amazing location. To benefit from that location, you do have some fairly steep steps to get down to the entrance. We try to warn of the potential considerations as to the property's suitability on the website, so we do hope that the access was what you had expected and that it was a small compromise for that spot right on the water's edge. perfect

Ok.

Amazing holiday!! The apartment was beautiful and the location was great! The window seat was divine and we could just sit there all day watching the world go by! The apartment had everything you needed and really was the home from home experience. If anyone is doubting or questioning whether to book here, don’t!! Trust me you will not be disappointed! We can’t wait to come back to St Ives!

Lovely time in St Ives (as ever). Crab Rock cottage is a lovely location.

The Lobster Pot is in a brilliant location, clean throughout with comfortable beds.
Enjoyed sitting on window seat listening to the sea and looking out on beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay - cottage was lovely with a fantastic view of the harbour and ideally situated - would definitely stay again!

I recently stayed at Lobster Pot with my daughter. It was perfect. The view was unbelievable. I could have spent all the time we were there just sitting on the window seat looking at the view and watching the waves. I have never stayed anywhere with such a beautiful outlook. The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Would go again and again.

The Lobster Pot is a wonderful place to stay. There is probably no better spot to sit on a window seat opposite the harbour and watch the tide come in and go out. It was perfect. The only downside is that one has to be able to climb steep stairs.

Beautiful views with window seat You can sit there all day watching the tides coming in and out. Good standard of accommodation with slightly tricky access down to the property. Once inside it’s lovely. Thank you.

The Lobster Pot is a beautiful, well-equipped and immaculate cottage in a stunning location. Amazing views over the harbour and across to Godrevy lighthouse and minutes from the town centre. Although the cottage is smaller than some we have stayed in, there is plenty of storage space and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating this lovely holiday home. Car parking is available at the Station Car Park just above the cottage. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

An incredible stay, the Lobster Pot is well equipped, perfectly located (only 2 mins walk from the station) and only 8 minutes walk to the farthest away beach in St. Ives. The sea laps at the foot of the property and there is a wonderful view all day long from the window seat. The place was spotless and very comfortable. Two minutes walk to the shops and two minutes walk to the nearest beach. I hope to return again and again, it was a wrench to leave.

This is a beautiful property, comfortable and clean.the views are outstanding and we love staying here.

Lobster Pot is a beautiful, relaxing home from home - with the added bonus of a beach side view. Sitting in the window seat watching the waves and tides change made for a blissful stay. The beds were comfy and the showers powerful - plentiful hot water. A real treat. We will definitely rebook even though we like to try different places in St Ives.

Lobster pot is an amazing place to stay , close to porthminster beach and to town. It’s compact inside, especially the living area and second bedroom. Ideal for family with young children or just for 2 adults , bit cramped for 4 adults . Amazing views over the rocks and sea over to the harbour - could look at that all day .

Everything about this holiday experience was great. We had to change our original date, which was done with ease thanks to the helpful staff at Aspects. The Lobster Pot is a wonderful property, in a fab location. The views are spectacular. The decor and furnishings are lovely and it is well equipped.

This is a lovely property in a great location - we all loved it and are looking forward to holidaying there again

Lobster Pot at Crab Rock was a very comfortable place with stunning views over St Ives Harbour and Bay . The steps down from the Warren to the front door are a bit steep. It was a lovely place close to railway station and car park. Town a few minutes walk away.

We enjoyed our stay enormously, loved the views of the harbour and the handy location.
The apartment is clearly newly refurbished in an appealing and modern style

The Lobster Pot is a cosy cottage in a great location. Very quick walk to the centre of town and we were able to park less than two minutes' walk away at the trian station. Would stay again.

Fab position for which you would forgive any minor faults. Well equipped. Very clean. Nice small welcome pack. Comfortable living room. Lovely and warm even on the coldest days. Beds hard. Access difficult for limited mobility. In room showers and no basin in twin room. One toilet. We were two and thought small for four. No outside space. The view is the star.

Lovely quirky cottage in a perfect location for all beaches and town, Although it sleeps four it is more suited for two as quite a small living area. Beautiful views from the back door and window.

Lovely property, well equipped , amazing views, didn’t want to leave here. Difficult to access by car however worth it still as cottage so nice, and close to beaches and town centre

You certainly get front row seats to those sea views from this property! It was great to hear how much you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, to get such a spectacular location, it is not somewhere where you are able to pull up outside. So, if spaces are available, we advise parking in the station car park, where you can walk down the steps to the Warren and access your property from there. We are glad that you agreed that the walk was worth it! Tanya, Customer Services

We have been staying at St Ives for over 10 years now and visited about 40 properties over this time. The biggest compliment I can give this property is that it was one of the best we have stayed at.

The owners have looked after this well and it is furnished to a standard you would expect for the price which isn't always the case with these types of properties.

I would recommend this property to anyone without hesitation.
