Should you be able to tear yourself away from the beach, the neighbouring town of St Ives is a 40-minute walk, via the southwest coastal path, or hop on the branch line where a gentle train ride will lead you into the picturesque town of St Ives. Here you will find something for all the family, whether it's a laid-back afternoon of ambling along the cobbled streets perusing the shops, or a visit to the Barbara Hepworth Museum, finished off with lunch in one of the many fabulous eateries St Ives has on offer. Perhaps exploring the stunning and rugged coastline on foot is on your 'to do' list, if so, the southwest coastal path can be picked up within easy walking distance. With parking for up to three cars you can easily explore further afield, and a visit to one of the many nearby beauty spots is a must, such as Godrevy Lighthouse, or the quaint fishing village of Mousehole on the south coast.
