Most of the rooms boast impressive views, looking out towards Hayle beach and Godrevy lighthouse, hopefully you may even spot a dolphin or two, thanks to the binoculars provided. You can also enjoy the Cornish breeze as it flows around you while you sit out on the balcony, just off the sitting room. The superb games room is sure to be popular for some competitive family fun, whether playing pool, air hockey, table tennis, or making the most of the selection of games for the Nintendo Wii. The evening can be finished off with a dip in the hot tub, while gazing out towards the sea, and a refreshing Cornish ale in hand. Up to two dogs are welcome here at Windrush, so pack your walking boots and head along the scenic coastal path leading you to St Ives in one direction, and in the other, the mile-long Porthkidney Sands.
A short path to the front of the house is reserved for private access for Windrush and neighbouring properties, leading you straight down to the Blue Flag Carbis Bay beach, where you have an array of water sports equipment available to hire, followed by a fresh, local, lunch courtesy of The Beach Club restaurant. Exploring West Cornwall and beyond is also trouble-free, thanks to the ample parking waiting for your return.
