A superb cottage with an amazing sea view. Seacot has everything you would want and need for a peaceful or active holiday in a really lovely village that is unspoilt and very friendly. It was plenty big enough for two couples to have their own space. It was beautifully furnished, bright and welcoming. We would have like 2 parking spaces but we appreciate that spaces are at a premium. We managed to find places to park the second car, in the village.

Holidays in Perranuthnoe

Just a stone's throw from the stunning St Michael's Mount, Perranuthnoe is the neighbouring village to the old market town of Marazion. With a beautiful beach, and rocky headlands with many coves and rock pools to explore, Perranuthnoe is the perfect place to relax in a peaceful area of Cornwall.

Located in Mount's Bay, Perranuthnoe is perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy the serenity that Cornwall has to offer. Described as a countryside village by the sea, Peranuthnoe is secluded enough to ensure a peaceful stay, but close enough to the bustling town of Marazion if you fancy a more lively atmosphere. With the Lizard Peninsula within easy reach, Perranuthnoe is perfect for walking holidays and exploring the rugged coastline.

Did you know...

when the conditions are right, Perranuthnoe is a great place to surf!

Things to do in Perranuthnoe

Dating back to the 12th century, Perranuthnoe's village pub named the 'Victoria Inn' is thought to be the oldest recorded Inn in Cornwall. Full of charm and character, this award winning pub is well worth a visit.

A short walk from the pub is the picturesque Perranuthnoe Church, which is dedicated to Cornwall's patron saint, St Piran. The church stands on the site of a former church dating back to 1160, and includes features from the original church, such as a Norman font.

Perranuthnoe beach, (also known as Perran Sands) offers good surfing when the conditions are right, and is ideal for beach-goers with its golden sands, cafe and car park. Be sure to visit at low tide however as there is very little left of the beach when the tide comes in! The Cabin Cafe offers stunning views and is featured in our blog: The best beach-front cafes in West Cornwall.

A popular fishing spot, even at low tide, Perranuthnoe is a favoured spot with the locals for seabass and dogfish.

The 'Village Crafts' centre located in a converted barn in the heart of the village offers an extensive range of local artwork, crafts, gifts, jewellery, and country clothing.

The Perranuthnoe Circular walk follows part of the South West Coast Path, which offers great views of St Michael's Mount, before cutting inland and back to Perranuthnoe via fields and villages.

The nearby Prussia Cove is a small and secluded rocky cove, surrounded by organic farmland and woodland has a famous history of smuggling!

Excellent property in a lovely location.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Seacot. The location is fabulous, it's only a five minute walk down to the beach. The kitchen was so well equipped, as was the utility room (body boards, buckets and spades etc) The bedroom format was perfect for us too (a family of 3) plus our friends (a couple). The double room and twin room are right next to each other, while the king room is up a separate flight of stairs so we all had our own space. Parking is a little tricky as there's only space for one car directly outside the property but we were able to find parking down the road. We'll be back! Thank you

Seacot is an absolutely wonderful property in a stunning location, we’ve stayed here 3 times now and will be booking again in the future. It has everything you could possibly need and more and the views from the decking and lounge are stunning. Sitting on the decking, or in the lounge, if the weather’s bad and listening to the sound of the waves is magical.

Perranuthnoe beach is a 3 minute walk from the property and there are two wonderful cafe’s and a pub in the village serving excellent food. If you take a short walk along the coastal path to the bench overlooking St Michael’s Mount, you will see the most amazing sunsets.

Thank you Aspects and Seacot for another wonderful holiday.

Beautiful house with spectacular views. Great little town and just the perfect place to switch off and relax.

We had a lovely holiday at Seacot cottage. It was a beautiful cottage and described exactly as advertised. The beach and cafe were excellent. The only downside was the weather. But didn’t let it spoil our holiday. The parking is very tight as is the approach down a very step hill. Especially when there are other cars parked opposite.

Wonderful holiday. Seacot is beautifully situated for a family seaside holiday being near the beach. For the energetic the Southwest Coastal path runs through the village with access to some wonderful coast both ways. There is an excelent coffee shop and a restaurant and two art galleries. Access to the east and west is good as the main road from Helston to Penzance is just a mile away. We didn't meet our hosts but it is obvious that Seacot is a cherished holiday home.

A lovely well equipped cottage in a stunning location. Easy walking distance to the beach and coast path, perfect for walking in either direction to Marazion and Penzance or Prussia Cove and Pra Sands.

Seacot is everything you could want. The third time we have stayed here, but unfortunately will need the last as dogs are not permitted and we want to behind ours on holiday next year. I would highly recommend the accommodation.

A fantastic weeks holiday. Beautiful view over the ocean. Lots of space. Everything and more was supplied which was needed. Good level of cleanliness. Stunning village with pub, gallery and cafes. Sadly we were away when Queenie passed but waslovely to hear the 70 muffled church bells the following day from the gorgeous local church. Would highly recommend and would stay again for longer!

Had a blissful stay at this lovely property. Nice and spacious and wonderful sea views. Love the location and went swimming everyday. Also close to Penzance and lots of lovely places to visit and walks nearby. Ate breakfast every morning on the terrace, and village is quaint, quiet and friendly. Thank you, we will be back!

The comfort and coverall layout and space of the property was a bonus, the rear decking/garden area was a massive plus point and the views were fantastic overlooking the bay and coastline. There was nothing overlooked in terms of kitchen stuff and general holiday or house equipment, particularly the washer dryer and utility room. The master bedroom balcony area was a great way to catch some extra sun or for an early morning coffee taking in the fresh sea air. Good location with everything you need, (Foodie Inn, Local Cafe, Beach Cabin and art Gallery) within a few minutes walk away. Coastal Path also nearby and few minutes walk you'll find a lovely quiet Beach.

Seacot is a amazing property. So we'll equipped. Breath taking view. Lovely to hear the waves of the sea all day. Local cafes within a 5 min walk. Locals are friendly. Lots of room for a family. Washing machine was a bonus. We got all our washing done whilst we were there.

Lovely Cottage so fantastic views from the lounge window what more can you ask for .Only a short walk to the beach which our Grandsons loved ,even though it was April we where on the beach most days and walks at night . The costal path only a very short distance away perfect viewing points of St Michaels Mount ,well worth a visit but do book ahead online. The cottage is home from home and more.We will be back .

Fantastic stay at Seacot. Great location only 3 minutes walk from beach. Beautiful walks in both directions. Lovely unspoilt location that l intend to return to some day.

Q very comfortable and well equipped cottage in an idyllic setting. Would highly recommend.

Love this house but love the location even more. Can’t recommend it enough!

Seacot is a lovely and comfortable property, well located in a pretty village with access to beautiful coastal walks and nearby cafes

Our first experience of staying in Seacot did not disappoint. It is actually better than in the photos. Definitely has the 'wow' factor and is beautifully furnished throughout. The cottage is spacious and offers privacy for 2 couples due to the en suite bedrooms being on different floors. We slept like logs as the street is very quiet. There is no need to worry about the weather as you have a stunning view from the lounge if you need to stay in while it rains. Everything has been thought of, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage or the village for a lovely relaxing holiday.

I’m very reticent to write a good review of this property as I don’t want it to become too popular! We go twice a year to it and love it and Perranuthnoe. We’ve done this for several years which tells you how good it is. Nothing to see here, move along to St. Ives. ??

The location is amazing and the house well equipped.

Best cottage we have stayed in. This was our second visit. Amazing location with views of the sea. Perfect beach, never busy. Cottage so well equipped. Thank you

Its an excellent cottage in a fabulous location, we love perranothnoe and it’s beach. I only hesitate in recommending it in case it becomes too popular!

This is a brilliant property, Aspects were great, not sure I want to share it with anyone hence the short review!

This year (2019) is our second year in the cottage and we were again impressed by the location, the equipment and the comfort of the cottage.

We know the area well as we stay in our caravan nearby, every summer.

Staying in a cottage is a delightful change of pace.

Seacot is set in a wonderful location with great views from the garden. It is a very relaxing place. A short walk to the wonderful beach. Coastal paths are on the doorstep to explore. The Victoria inn serves excellent food. What more could you want. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful cottage in great location. Lovely sea views, whatever the weather.

A lovely very comfortable property with a lovely view. The cottage was very stylishly decorated and very well equipped. Very good location with good local walks and cafes.

This property was absolutely fantastic! We loved the quirkyness of it and that the second double bedroom had its own wing, as my mum and partner had their own area and we didn’t feel like we were all on top of each other... it was a very comfortable relaxing stay and would definitely return...

Beautiful cottage with stunning views. So comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Our 2nd visit to Seacot and we will be returning.

Fantastic cottage in a very lovely location, with a beautiful beach on your doorstep. We would love to visit again!

wonderful cottage with magnificent views of the coast,The Victoria inn and the cabin both excellent

Seacot is set in the most beautifull location, the seaviews are breathtaking from the garden. This cottage is a real gem and within walking distance of St Michael's Mount, Marazion via the Coastal Path. Its perfect for walkers with the coastal path being literally on the doorstep. Perranethnoe beach was wonderful and the cafe was fantastic. We saw seals in the sea while we were there which was quite magical. We had the most wonderful and relaxing holiday and would defintely return to Seacot again.

Our second stay at Seacot proved just as enjoyable and relaxing as our first holiday there just over a year previously, and it confirmed for us that we'd love to visit again. The property is well furnished and equipped, and very comfortable and relaxing, and Perranuthnoe is a lovely little spot in itself, but also very well situated for easy access to the numerous attractive locations around the Land's End peninsula.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location. So well equipped. Thank you. We will be back!!!

Lovely cottage, perfect location, would definitely book it again.

Delightful cottage ... lovely location .. comfortable.

Seacot is a super place to stay, it has all the comforts of home and enjoys a lovely village setting a few minutes from the beach, with stunning sea views from its patio and sun lounge. All in all, the perfect recipe for a superbly relaxing holiday.

Don't judge a book by its cover as cottage doesn't have kerb appeal but when you open the door WOW !!

Lovely, comfortable cottage with beautiful views. Well equipped and spacious, perfect for us and our two teenagers. Cute village and beach and great pub nearby. The only improvement could've been the weather!

It is not impressive from the roadside, but when you enter the property it is a very pleasant surprise.

A real home from home, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return in the future. Book this cottage and you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful cottage in a great location.

Seacot is a divine holiday cottage! So much so that I don't really want Aspects to publish this as it will encourage too many visitors to our secret Cornish bolthole! :)

Amazing views in a beautiful location . Perfect spacious well presented in simple but very tasteful furnishings and decor . Everything you could possibly want and more .
