If you fancy being a short stroll from the golden sands of Praa Sands and places to eat and drink, then Beach Break is the perfect choice. Beach Break is a gorgeous property all on one level, with easy access and plenty of parking. With an open plan living room, dining area with extra seating (and stunning sea views) and a super equipped kitchen, you will feel instantly at ease and ready to relax into holiday mode.

Tucked back off the main road up a little track, Beach Break couldn't be better situated for your main summer holiday, or a more chilled break in autumn or winter. Holiday at Beach Break and you are literally a ten minute drive from the foodie meccas of Porthleven and Marazion, but if you want to just sit and reflect before heading out for the day or an evening meal, then Beach Break has its own decked outdoor area with seating and sea views!

This is our 4th year on the bonce at this property and our 5th is already booked for next year. The property is always clean and comfortable and it truly has everything you'll need for your stay. Holidays in Praa Sands

With one mile of white gold sand, which looks almost tropical in the sunshine, Praa Sands provides an idyllic setting for a Cornish holiday. The beach is ideal for family picnics, sandcastle building, beach games and paddling, and the waves are great for surfers and bodyboarders. Praa Sands beach is surrounded by stunning coastal walks, with breathtaking views of Penzance, Mount’s Bay and The Lizard Peninsula.

Praa Sands’ nine-hole golf course is only minutes away, or for those who prefer a bit of history, Pengersick Castle is a short walk away where there are plenty of stories about the wrecking and smuggling that took place in the bay until the 18th century. Right on the beach is Sandbar, a modern and bright restaurant/bar with magnificent views across the ocean.

Places to visit near Praa Sands

Just seven miles away from Praa Sands is Penzance, a town with an eclectic mix of art studios, historic buildings, well stocked shops and award-winning restaurants. Visiting Marazion is a must when staying here, as the stunning St Michael's Mount found here is just a short drive away. This mystical tidal island provides the perfect backdrop for a walk along Marazion beach and offers an interesting day out. Helston, six miles away, is an ancient market town and gateway to the Lizard peninsulaHayle, also six miles away, has a new, easily accessible out of town retail development together with a dramatic golden sandy beach stretching for three miles to Godrevy Lighthouse. 

There's also plenty of places to eat out at when self catering in Praa Sands. With a selection a great pubs and restaurants in the area you won't be short of places to try out.

Beaches

When staying in Praa Sands, you'll benefit from being a stone's throw from Praa Sands beach. Famed for its white sands stretching almost a mile, this family friendly beach is lifeguarded in summer, and a great place to spend a day in the sun.

Holiday cottages in Praa Sands sit between two other desirable beach locations too; Prussia Cove and Mullion Cove. Like Praa, they are unspoilt and perfect for walking, swimming and sunbathing. Praa Sands is also a very short distance from Porthleven, a picturesque fishing village which has excellent restaurants and is known as a world-class location for experienced surfers.

Tom Bawcock's Eve, Mousehole

Every year, the people of Mousehole celebrate the bravery of Tom Bawcock. Years ago, when the boats couldn't get out in the storms, the villages had no fish to eat. Tom dared to take his boat out and returned with enough fish to make a Star Gazey fish pie for the whole village.

Another good holiday in Praa Sands

Had lovely holiday. Walk to the beach 5 minutes. Very good location for site seeing. Bungalow very comfortable with fantastic sea views.

Absolutely love Praa Sands and Beach Break. This is our 3rd year and we have already reserved the property for 2 weeks next year. Booking is easier and convenient. The owner of the property was amazing and very helpful. The oven broke while we were there and the owner replaced it himself the next day (Bank Holiday Monday too). We loved our holiday and can't wait until next year. Thank you so much.

Think it's our 4th or 5th stay now.Seems to get better every time.Location comfort and the gorgeous beach makes an ideal holiday. Handy shops a short stroll away with a,cafe that's a,great place for a coffee and food.

Fantastic stay, praa sands beach has everything. Beautiful beach, rock pools and Life guards. The property is very well maintained, has everything you need and more! Very well thought out. Fantastic location for st Michaels mount,kynance cove, Prussia cove and the lizard. We can not wait to stay again.

Such a lovely property, very clean throughout and so close to the beach. This was our 2nd stay in the property and we loved the little changes that had been made since our last visit. Already booked for next year!

Beach Break is a little gem, glad we found it. Had a relaxing week with our 5 Yr old granddaughter. Location is amazing with it's proximity to the sea and very peaceful. Comfy beds, well equipped and very clean. Mark the owner was very friendly and helpful, came to introduced himself, left his number then left us alone to enjoy our holiday. The property is ideally situated in a quiet location and offers a beautiful view of the sea and coastline. The gorgeous beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bungalow was extremely clean and well equipped with all linens and kitchen equipment provided. The owner was brilliant in offering any support needed. We would highly recommend this accommodation and have loved our stay in Beach Break!

A lovely cottage in a great location. Modern tasteful décor, private parking and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The heating is very good and there is also a lovely open fire to relax in front of for those colder evenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return for future holidays.
