Sunset View was a lovely place to stay. It was modern, light and airy with stunning views. Wet weather days seemed less disruptive when sitting and watching the sea from the comfort of the sofa. We liked that it was out of the way of the main hustle and bustle of the town yet only a few minutes walk to access beach, harbour or town, though of course this involved a down hill walk in one direction and an uphill one in the other. We made good use of the nearby coast path towards Zennor. We found the apartment clean and comfortable and well organised, perfect for two people.

Just returned from a lovely Christmas week in the flat and found it generally comfortable, warm and a great base in St Ives. The view is amazing and we're only sorry we didn't have more sunshine, to be able to open those great glass doors wide - but even so, we enjoyed watching the surfers in the wind and rain! Like some others we found the bed a bit small and whilst comfortable, the flat does lack some of the more homely touches, but I guess its all about the location and view. We love that side of St Ives, looking out over Porthmeor beach and the ocean, so highly recommend the flat for it's location and views.

We are glad that you enjoyed Sunset View despite the lack of sunshine! We aim to offer a wide range of properties that we hope will meet the different budgets, differing requirements and individual tastes, so we hope that the mattress and decor was what you had expected from the photos and description online. Your comments are automatically sent to the property owners so they can consider any suggestions for future improvements though, so thank you for the helpful comments and we hope to see you back soon. Absolutely wonderful apartment, exactly as described. Well equipped, comfortable and clean.

Great access to all beaches and St Ives facilities - short walk to everywhere. Up a bit of a hill but that is what gives the great views.

Would highly recommend.

The property and its location and views are stunning , we had an extremely relaxing week .pre Booking restaurants such as the sea food cafe for the evening is essential to avoid disappointment . The car park opposite is always full and very busy , we booked a weeks parking slot at the Edward hain hospital but it’s not the easiest walk however securing a pre booked slot somewhere in st ives is essential . Overall a great weeks holiday

We love this apartment having stayed here twice now. The view is fabulous and if you’re lucky you can see a beautiful sunset. It’s comfortable and spacious for a small apartment and there’s also a sea view from the bedroom. The town and beach are only a 5 minute walk away too. The only real downside is the lack of a parking space. However there is a car park directly opposite and we were lucky enough to get a space on arrival. If you move though it’s a lottery as spaces are limited. We had a lovely week here, didn’t want to leave and look forward to returning.

Had a lovely stay in Sunset View. Apartment was amazing with beautiful views from balcony. Would definitely recommend. A lot more car park spaces in rugby club rather than barnoon car park un front of propery

We spent our honeymoon here!

Fantastic property and and location was perfect. The apartment was clean and really comfortable. The views were spectacular. So easy to walk into town and chill on a rainy day. Beautiful coastal walks and beaches.

The main downside was no parking space. This was a massive downside as the car parks were just chocka block so we couldn’t really move our car for the fear of losing the space!

It's great to hear how much you enjoyed Sunset View, and many congratulations on your recent wedding. It sounds like this property was nearly perfect for you. Parking is unfortunately at a premium in St Ives, with many properties not having this facility and car parks filling up quickly in school holiday weeks. For those without this facility, it is always worth looking into parking options beforehand on the local council website and looking into private parking availability, particularly for peak weeks. There is also a park and ride facility which some find useful. Please feel free to contact the team for any advice. Thanks for your comments, and we hope to see you back here soon. I was not informed about maintenance works at the property.

Thank you for your feedback following your stay at Sunset View, and for getting in touch at the time of your visit to let us know about some building noise coming from within the building. If we are ever aware of any projects taking place during the time of a guest's stay, we will always give as much notice as we can, but unfortunately in this case we did not know that that a DIY project was taking place in a privately-owned property within the apartment building over the span of a few days. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, and very much hope you still had a lovely stay in the area. We hope we can welcome you back soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Super little apartment with stunning views over Porthmeor and Clodgy Point. Well furnished and comfortable.

From the moment we walked in we were amazed both by the quality of the property and mostly by the fantastic views from the bi fold doors. I will recommend anyone to stay here it’s a beautiful building, the bed we wanted to take home because we had the best sleep ever on it. The sound of the sea through the open door is something we will not forget. Everything you need is provided apart from your food and alcohol provisions. Nothing was lacking in any way, it was our dream forever home perfect in every way.

We loved our stay at Sunset View, perfectly situated for the beaches and town with amazing views from all directions. We parked our car up in the Barnoon car park and didn’t use it again until we left, preferring to walk, use the very reasonably priced bus service and trains. Very sad to leave, it was just the perfect week.

Loved the place just as much as before and can only refer you back to my previous review to tell you how much that was !

Absolutely loved our stay at sunset view . From the perfect view to the spacious apartment with everything you could want for a special holiday. Will defiantly stay again ??

The apartment was very clean, modern, well equipped, secure and located in an ideal position for views and amenities.

Fantastic apartment, brilliant location, stunning views in any weather. Warm, clean, well equipped, comfortable bed and sofa. Everything worked as it should. Nice bathroom and good shower. Lots of space to put all your stuff. Five minutes to Porthmeor beach and town. Would recommend to anyone except those who can’t tackle stairs and steep hills. Very good service from Aspects. Did not want to leave and would go back anytime !!

Kate , stayed 30th October - 7th November

Had an amazing stay at Sunset View, what a way to take in the beauty of st.ives.

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood the apartment is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Lovely apartment, great views and great sunsets. No more than a few minutes walk from town centre or the beach. If lucks on your side you can park directly opposite (£8.40/24hrs.£48/7 days). Do not be tempted to park outside parking bays, parking enforcement very strict.

Lovely apartment, lovely view, would definitely stay again.

Could not fault the property and view. The only negative was no reserved parking space at the car park directly opposite the property. Would have been so much easier to park there and pay extra for the apartment.

We were delighted to see that you liked the property and that you enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking Porthmeor, we think you will agree that 'Sunset View' is the perfect name for this apartment! Thank you for your feedback regarding the parking situation, with parking being such a premium in St Ives we do understand that having parking so close would be an added bonus, but unfortunately permits for spaces are so limited and in such high demand, that the waiting lists are just too long. For properties without parking, there are a few options that can help, including council rover tickets and private parking options that we would be happy to advise on if you would like to get in touch. We do hope to welcome you back again soon. Ben, Customer Services

We found this was a lovely place to stay good for walking into town & also good for walking around the coastal path. Only down side was with the covid 19 going on its was very hard to find any restaurants with any spare places to book.

Regard's Mark

Very good accommodation.

Bigger bed needed

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are glad to read that you liked Sunset View; it's a great little place. Thanks for your suggestion about the bed. As a standard double, we appreciate this may feel a little small if you are used to a larger size bed at home, so we will certainly pass on your feedback to the owner for their consideration, when they are at a point of looking for a replacement. Thank you again for your comments and we hope to see you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Great views, charming village and locals

As usual we very much enjoyed using this property and the service Aspects provide, and this is why we return to it and other Aspects properties regularly and will do so again.

Sunset view has stunning views over Porthmeor, bi-fold doors enhance the view. As you’re so high it’s quite a hike up hills and steps so not suit everyone, well worth the climb up a variety of routes though- apartment is well equipped and comfortable, bedroom furniture a bit cheap & cheerful and even the bedroom has good views the other direction. Thorough enjoyed our stay and would deffo stay again. ??

Reply from Aspects Holidays

There is a bit of a steep climb back up to the property at the end of the day, no matter which route you take, but what amazing views to stop and look at while you take a breather on your way back up to this lovely apartment, and stunning views from the apartment itself! We are glad that you liked it! We hope to see you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset View. The view is amazing and the location is ideal: you're a two minute walk from amazing Porthmeor beach, and a five minute walk into town. There is no car parking but the Barnoon long stay car park is just outside. This does fill up a lot during the day (a lot of surfers come to Porthmeor, even in the middle of winter) so if you plan on going lots of places this is something worth considering. The place itself is lovely and well looked after although it could do with some 'finishing touches'.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

It is great to hear that you really enjoyed your stay at Sunset View and that the location was ideal for you. When it comes to parking, there are a few alternatives such as St Ives secure parking and the Rugby Club if you ever find yourself unable to get a space close to the property, and a shuttle bus is in place to drop guests back into town. Please do get in touch if you would like any advice. We will be inspecting the property soon and will have a look into your suggestion of additional finishing touches, and pass on any recommendations to the property owners. Thanks for your helpful comments and we hope that we will be seeing you again soon. Lucy, Customer Services

Had a great week in sunset view st ives, a lovely apartment with high quality fixtures and fittings. A fantastic view from the floor to ceiling window! Would definitely revisit.

Just returned from a long weekend staying at Sunset View and what an amazing second floor apartment this is. Amazing views across Porthmeor Beach with a balcony to soak up the rays or from behind the huge patio windows if the weather isn't too great. Fab location with just a 10 minute walk into the heart of St Ives. While it doesn't offer parking (not many places in St Ives do) the apartment is very close to a public car park making it easy and convenient. If you book this apartment you won't be disappointed!!!

sunset view is a spectacular location, ideally placed between beach & town so long as you don't mind walking uphill. ideal location for a self contained break for singletons/couples. all is as decribed & all utilities work perfectly, not always the case with holiday rentals.

The actual apartment is beautiful, with stunning views and fantastic location. But overall value for money is very much lacking. (For example, no toilet roll or hair-dryer provided). Please also be aware, parking is nearly non-existent in St Ives, so you might want to re-consider driving to this property.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so sorry to hear that you felt that you did not get value for money at this property. We try to ensure that properties are priced accordingly, taking into account many factors. And whilst this apartment does not have the benefit of parking, something that is high demand here in St Ives; you get the benefit of those beautiful views and a good amount of space for a 1 bedroom apartment. We do take comments very seriously though, and will closely monitor further feedback on this. We are always happy to help advise on options for parking, such as the private facilities, park and ride options, and of course, if you would prefer to arrive by public transport, we can offer advice on this also. You should have had a toilet roll provided, to get you started, so we are very sorry if that had been missed, and whilst not all properties provide a hairdryer, it is often worth contacting us in case we have a spare that we could have lent to you for the week. We are glad that you enjoyed those views and fantastic location; thank you for sending in your feedback. Tanya, Customer Services
