Shopping in St Ives
From books to jewellery to freshly made food, shopping in St Ives is a Cornish tradition thanks to the cobbled streets and independent shops that line them.
A cosy retreat for two, 19 Teetotal Street is snuggled away in the quiet back roads of Downalong, the perfect, central location for exploring the bustling town of St Ives. As you step inside this delightful ground floor apartment, you will be greeted by the open-plan living area, which is attractively furnished in restful tones. There is a well-equipped kitchen, where you can rustle up culinary delights, or enjoy a lazy brunch of freshly baked treats from St Ives Bakery. You then move through to the comfortably appointed bedroom and on to the contemporary shower room. Outside the property you will find a small, but perfectly formed, enclosed courtyard, complete with bistro table and chairs, and a tap to wash off sandy toes and wetsuits after a day spent on the beach.
Positioned at the end of a terrace of granite fisherman’s cottages, you are only moments away from the vibrant harbour front, alongside Porthgwidden Beach and the three other fabulous beaches that St Ives boasts. You do not have to stroll far to kick back and relax.
