We had a great stay at Midships. The accommodation is lovely and in a great location for the shops and beaches. The undercover car parking in a garage down the street is also a real bonus.

There are a lot of stairs from the ground floor kitchen area to the lounge and then again to the bedrooms. There are further stairs to the very top room. We loved keeping fit, but if you find stairs a challenge it might not suit.

The walk to Carbis Bay has some great views and the coffee shop at the bay is lovely. Great for a cuppa before you walk back.

We have stayed at Midships a few times now and we hope to be back again soon

My family had a wonderful time at Midships. The accommodation is right in the centre of town with shops, restaurants and beaches literally a stones throw away. The house has everything you could wish for, hopefully we'll be back!

A really lovely house located within the heart of St Ives, we are returning guests for the second year running. We have everything we need there, it’s like home from home. It’s very quiet even with being close to the high street. You have a parking space which is ideal especially with being in the town. The beach is 2 mins from the house, which is amazing. This house and location never fails us.

Midships is a delightful property, the location is extremely close to the two main beaches, and has easy access to the shops. The car park space is a bonus, and we easily fitted a SUV in there.

Fantastic family holiday at Midships - lots of space, comfortable and well equipped. The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes from Porthmeor Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Midships Cottage. It is a beautiful, impeccably clean place with all the amenities one could need. We are a family of five, some with mobility issues and the location right next to the Harbour, Porthmeor Beach and lovely boutiques was ideal. The parking space is a huge bonus and just a two-minute walk from the cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped and we spent some lovely evenings cooking family dinners.

We had to postpone our holiday a few times because of Covid and Aspects Holidays and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at Midships for 2 weeks at the beginning of July. It’s an absolutely gorgeous property filled with everything you could need or want. It’s central location is excellent for all shops and beaches and restaurants. The parking space was an absolute bonus and our suv fitted perfectly. We cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be back

Great property, well located and extremely comfortable, and more so as advertised! We have booked again as Midships is great value if you can get the full occupancy! The parking space whilst tight is a great bonus, and the utility area is another added bonus if you’re into water sports… we was able to store our kayak in the parking area and use the utility room for fishing rods and wetsuits etc.

Couldn't fault accommodation. Close to all beaches and shops and restaurants. Ideal for parking car up and enjoying holiday. Will definitely book again.

Midships is a lovely large property in a great location. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The living room is spacious, however the staircase is tight with low headroom, however this is to be expected in such an old property and didn’t cause us any problems. The advantage of having a parking space just a minutes walk away is ideal and accommodated our SUV with no problem. We would certainly stay here again.

Just returned home to Scotland after a lovely weeks holiday with family at Midships. The house was well situated for us and the parking space in the garage was a bonus. Everything was spotless when we arrived.

Great location close to beaches and shops (the nearest is a fab bakery). A well stocked kitchen and plenty of indoor space, plus the highly prized Downalong parking space. Highly recommend.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Midships. The location is excellent, so close to our favourite beaches, town & the harbour. The property itself is very tastefully decorated & the kitchen is well equipped. The storage room is very useful for storing beach equipment & hanging wetsuits. We’ll definitely be back next year.

This is our second stay at Midships. Location is excellent and the accommodation is cosy but spacious. Despite its central location the noise in the evenings is minimal… We would definitely recommend this as an ideal place to stay for a family or large group.

We've just got back from st ives , the cottage is in a perfect location for shops , restaurants, bars harbour and beaches. Its a beautiful cottage, very well equipped and i would definitely recommend .

Property was beautifully clean and very central and not on a hill! Good for older visitors. Nice large dining table - good for families. We all ended up using shower and loo on the third floor as bathroom on ground floor too far to go from 4th floor in middle of night. Staff friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Midships: the house is perfectly situated only yards from Fore Street and the harbour and a couple of minutes walk to Porthmeor. It’s surprisingly quiet considering it’s close proximity to the hustle and bustle of a busy St Ives in summer...

The house itself is spacious and comfortable and is equipped with everything you need to make it a relaxing stay. The added bonus of covered parking only seconds from the house makes it that much easier to go out for the day knowing you don’t have to struggle for parking on your return. We’d definitely stay at Midships again...

Lovely property for a great family holiday. Excellent kitchen with plenty of space for eating, lovely light lounge. Bedrooms very comfortable. Very convenient for visiting town and the great local beaches. Seagulls seem to have a party in the middle of the night, but that’s just part of living in the middle of St Ives!!!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in the centre of St Ives, Midships is for you. Literally a couple of minutes away from Porthmeor Beach, Fore Street, and the Harbour, the house is spacious, very well equipped, and very quiet. With a generous kitchen/ dining room combo on the ground floor and a light and airy sitting room on the first floor, it is spacious enough to allow people doing their own thing. Good kitchen, if you want to do your own cooking rather than enjoy the wonderful restaurants in town. The bedrooms are lovely, particularly the one in the loft. Highly recommended.

Midships is a spacious, modern, comfortable, well equipped property, ideal for 6 /7 people to stay. It is absolutely perfectly located, whether you are in St Ives for fishing, surfing, sun bathing, painting, night life .. this property is just a few moments from all these activities. For those unable to manage long walks or hills, this property is ideal, all beaches & the harbor & eateries, are just moments away, level walking. Wonderful!
