Mrs Horwell Jan 2024
Really lovely little cottage. Suited all our needs. Clean, light and airy and in the perfect location. Minutes away from the harbour, shops and beaches in all directions. The bathroom is extremely small, but it does say it in the details that it just has a bath and toilet in it. There are basins in the bedrooms. Saying this, it wouldn't stop us returning as you can put up with it for just a week's holiday. Bedrooms were comfy and the living space and kitchen/dining area were well laid out and nice to be in. We'd love to return to Seashore next year.
Would highly recommend The St Ives Surf School for surf lessons, The Firehouse for to die for burgers, The Mex for amazing Mexican food, Peppers for delicious pizzas and The Balancing Eel for yummy take away fish and chips.
Aspects were really helpful and quick to respond when I needed help. Great customer service!
Love St Ives. It never disappoints.
Mrs Rayment Jul 2023
Overall the property was great. The location is amazing and surprisingly quiet considering you’re only 5 mins from 3 amazing beaches, The Wharf and Fore Street. The property was clean and tidy on arrival and the arrival pack was appreciated. Our kids loved the small “den” upstairs which allowed them to play on their consoles when chilling after a busy day on the beaches. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of storage. The bathroom is really small. That small it can’t fit a sink which we would have liked to enable us to wash our hands without leaving the room. I think it would benefit from being converted into a shower room. The actual bath is that small I don’t think anyone would actually use it for a bath anyway. We never used the outside area due to the location of the bin. But I don’t want any comments to sound too negative. It’s an old house in an old part of St Ives and is going to be smaller in areas compared with modern standards. In fact that is part of the charm in staying in these type of properties. We had a great holiday and would visit again.

Thank you for your feedback following your stay at Seashore, Burrow Road. We are so pleased that the whole family had a nice, relaxing stay - as you've said the snug provides a perfect area for kids to play and unwind after a long day exploring.
As with other traditional cottages in St Ives, space in smaller rooms needs to be utilised. In Seashore, a shower is located over the bath, which gives guests the option of using both during their stay. We do understand that the arrangement with sinks being located in the bedrooms may not suit all guests, but your feedback has been passed along to the owners for them to take into consideration for any future improvements and changes.
We hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Katy, Customer Services.
A delightful little cottage set amongst quaint streets, just away from the bustle of the harbour. Very close to the everything! Highly recommended for a couple of friends or a small family.
Mrs Scholefield Jul 2023
Seashore is very well situated on a quiet narrow road, close to beach and harbour. The accomodation worked well for us - two friends doing a course at the art studio - but could be a bit cramped for four, especially if all adult sized. The bathroom is very small and getting in and out of the bath in order to use the shower could be difficult if one isn’t very agile. Kitchen facilities and equipment are fine for holiday catering. The house was clean and the sitting room comfy.

We are so pleased to hear you had a lovely stay at Seashore, and we hope you had a great experience at the art studio too! Being a traditional St Ives fishermans cottage, they are often a little smaller and quirkier than more modern buildings but are packed full of character. We always try to be as open and honest as possible and try to give an accurate representation of properties within our photos and hope that we have achieved that in this case. In the property description, we do mention that the shower is above the bath, so we do recommend if anyone has any questions they should get in touch before booking. We hope we can welcome you back to St Ives soon. Katy, Customer Services.
A small property, perfect for three, or four if you're small! Everything is in small proportions, so avoid if you are 6 foot, but try if you are little and enjoy cosy! :) We found it was cheap and cheerful and the location could not have been better for us. Easy reach of shops, restaurants, pubs and beaches. For a short break, it's perfect!
Mrs SHAW Oct 2022
Great location, great parking at the rugby club we used a taxi down to the cottage. The property was cleaned vey well , be aware the bathroom is VERY small, with no sink but each bedroom has a sink. Attic room has a decent view but only really suitable for small persons due to ceiling height

We are glad that you enjoyed the amazing location of this property. The bathroom is quite small here but provides everything needed for a couple or small family. And the snug is definitely best suited to little ones, so we state this within the description and try to show the size of this and the bathroom as best as possible in the photos, so that guests can make an informed decision on whether this will suit their party. We do hope that this was all what you had expected and hope that you liked it. Tanya, Customer Services
The property was lovely and clean, well equipped for travelling with young children, and in a really great location. A stones throw from 3 of St Ives beaches and the town centre. Would stay again!
Mrs Whittaker Oct 2022

Mrs Rae Sep 2022
Excellent location very near several beaches, pubs and restaurants. Very well-furnished and comfortable accommodation. Be aware that allocated parking space is 25 minutes walk away uphill.
Mrs Cornwell Jul 2022
Nice quaint cottage, excellent location for the beach and other amenities, shops etc. would stay again.
Mrs Levers Jun 2022
Well equipped and clean property, perfectly suited for the three of us. Conveniently located for the beach, parking and shops, would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Miss Irwin May 2022
Seashore is in a great location, perfect for a couple of small family (max 4). The house itself is a little ran down and could do with a lick of paint and new carpets, but apart from that could not fault and would likely rebook. The service from aspects was brilliant and cannot be faulted.

Thank you for your feedback. Your comments were passed on to the property owner and he has since had trades attend to address these areas. Thanks for taking the time to send in your review. Tanya, Customer Services
Seashore is a comfortable well equipped cottage in a great location in the heart of St Ives. We had a great stay and would always recommend staying in St Ives.
Mrs Rye Oct 2021
Excellent location and lovely cottage which really is fantastic value for money. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We stayed at number 5 (2 doors away) in 2020 so know the location well - and the service on both occasions from Aspects was great. The cottage is a great size although the bathroom is really small. However, was enough for me and my wife. A lovely touch too with a card and a bottle for us on our anniversary! Thanks
Mr Senior Oct 2021
Cottage was just superb, the location was perfect for beaches and the harbour front. It was 14 doors away from my birthplace so it was perfect for reminiscing and making even more wonderful memories.
Mrs Hillier Sep 2021
Aspects Holidays were great, responded really quickly to queries.
Dr Hughes Aug 2021
The location is absolutely perfect! Home comforts and plenty of room for a family of 4. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen, and a resident seagull sat on the wheelie bin outside that we named Sandy! We had a great time!
Mrs Flynn Jun 2021
St Ives is my favourite place to go and with less family there to stay with now ,Seashore is a perfect home away from home
Ms Hurley Jun 2021
We enjoyed staying in Seashore. The cottage is really conveniently located for Porthmeor beach and for walking into the town.
The cottage feels cosy and welcoming and has all that you need. The outside bench is a good place to catch the morning sun. Upstairs, the attic room is a useful extra space for the kids to play in on a rainy day.
Mrs Holding Sep 2020
A lovely cosy cottage in a central but quiet location.
Having the extra room in the attic was brilliant, the children loved to chill out in their "gaming room" after a day on the beach(which is a 2 minute walk away).
Would definitely book again and Aspects customer service is second to none.
Mrs Pearce Aug 2020
We had a lovely time in St. Ives even though the weather was rather wet and windy. Aspect holidays were very helpful when contacted, the welcome pack had all the information you needed for your stay including information on how to pay for the nearest car park as well as a free space a little way away in the town should you wish to use it.
A small problem in the bathroom was fixed within a couple of hours. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aspect to book a holiday through.
Mrs Parrott Nov 2019
Great location and satisfactory stay
