Shopping in St Ives
From books to jewellery to freshly made food, shopping in St Ives is a Cornish tradition thanks to the cobbled streets and independent shops that line them.
Located in the very heart of Downalong you'll find Traddles, a great bolt hole nestled only a few hundred yards from the harbour front. Sleeping up to four guests, Traddles offers reverse level accommodation spread over two floors, with the added bonus of a small patio area to the side of the property, an ideal spot to perch with your morning coffee catching the morning sun. As you enter through the front door, you are welcomed by two comfortably appointed bedrooms, alongside the family bathroom, featuring a Jacuzzi bath. Stairs descend to the open plan living area, with a comfy L-shaped sofa inviting you to stretch out and relax in front of the Smart TV, after a busy day of exploring. The compact modern kitchen has everything you need to cater for a small family, however, with such an amazing choice of places to eat out, all within a few minutes, you really won't need to worry about having to cook.
Not only are you a stone's throw from the vibrant harbourfront, but also a very short walk to the blue flag, Porthmeor Beach, renowned for its great surf, with beach equipment hire, surf school and café on site, it's perfect for family days spent in the sun. Your four-legged friends are also very welcome to join you on your holidays, with Bamaluz beach being dog-friendly all year round.
Please Note: There are building works taking place close to Traddles throughout 2024 and 2025. This can be seen and at times heard from within the property and is subject to change. Please contact our Customer Services Team with any queries before booking.

Thank you for your feedback following your stay at Traddles. The current building project taking place is due to continue into 2025, but we are making sure that all guests are notified of any work taking place during their visit.
