A second floor, duplex apartment set within the ever popular St Nicholas Court complex, number 37 enjoys superb views across Porthmeor Beach and The Island from the large picture windows of the sitting room, as well as the private balcony. St Nicholas Court is perfectly positioned for the ideal beach holiday, you can be treading barefoot across the soft sand and dipping your toes into the crystal blue waters of Porthmeor beach within seconds. Having your apartment so close, you can pop back easily for refreshments or a light lunch, before heading back to the beach for the afternoon. St Ives town itself is within a couple of minutes walk, where you will find a huge variety of eateries, galleries and specialist shops, as well as four other beautiful beaches, including the Harbour, where you might want to take one of the boat trips to spot seals and dolphins in the bay. Number 37 has a private sun patio leading off of the bedroom, which overlooks the courtyard gardens, with views across the rooftops to Godrevy Lighthouse. After a day sunning yourself on the beach, or exploring the town, kick back and relax on the sea facing balcony and marvel at the stunning sunsets that take over the horizon of Porthmeor.

Unusually for beachside properties in St Ives, number 37 has the added benefit of private, secure parking at the complex, so if you can tear yourself away from St Ives, and want to explore further afield to the many stunning locations around West Cornwall. you can return with ease, knowing you can park up and head straight into your holiday haven.

Additional information

wall mounted electric radiator heating, undercover parking for one car, parking space measures 8ft 10ins wide x 16ft in length ( one of the larger spaces in the complex so will fit SUV or 4x4), although there is no washing machine in the apartment, you have use of an on-site laundry room for a small fee, ‘Off the beach’ communal outside shower, WiFi, one dog welcome, short breaks available.

 
 

Great little complex. Great that gate is locked after 10pm .Quite good value for money. Very central to the beach and town .We return every year .Office staff always there to help .

We absolutely loved our stay here at 37 st Nicholas court and will be booking again for next year.

The views from the balcony, having your own parking space and being a 2 mins walk into stone is perfect.

The apartment was spotless on arrival and we have zero dislikes about this property.

Have stayed at number 37 many times and there are lots of things to love about this accommodation. The beautiful location ,view and larger parking bay . The dislikes … It only had one bedroom with a small double bed. There is a bed settee in the lounge fine if you don’t mind that but not really suitable for 4 adults . Only one bathroom. On reflection this is quite expensive for what you get compared to other properties in the same Location but we love the view .

Thank you for your review. 37 St Nicholas Court is advertised as having one bedroom, with accompanying sofa bed in the lounge. We appreciate this set up may not suit all parties, but we try to advertise the property as clearly as possible through the description and accompanying photos. We have used Aspects for several years and the service provided by the staff is exceptional - nothing is too much trouble. One lady even counted the steps leading up to one of our shortlisted apartments and sent me a video. We have booked later this year for a different property (as 37 was already booked) and the staff helped with organising car parking. Properties are to a very high standard and everything is very clean.

We had a great stay everything we needed inside the apartment. The views from the balcony are fantastic especially the beautiful sunsets. A number of great restaurants are within walking distance. We enjoyed our morning coffee at cafes on the two great beaches nearby.

This apartment has excellent sea views with easy access to the many beaches. We especially enjoyed the quick walk to the swimming beach for our daily early morning swim! It is extremely clean with modern furnishings and is spacious. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need should you choose to eat and cook in the apartment. If you choose to eat out there are plenty of lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and take-aways really close by. The car park under the apartments is secure with easy access at all times. The location is excellent for exploring the local area or travelling further as we did to Lands End, Lizard Point, Kynance Cove, St. Michaels Mount and Mousehole.

The view at this property is absolutely amazing and the onsite parking definitely a big bonus. Really comfortable accommodation.

Best location in st.ives, 37 st Nicholas court was a lovely flat. Really enjoyed our stay.

Super location with great views. Attractive apartment, nicely furnished. Great upstairs terrace which acts as sun trap. Handy garage space for surfboards and beach kit. All round fantastic property. The only negative we found was that the bed is a small double so my husband and I (6’2” and 5’7”) had to take turns sleeping on the sofa!

We are glad that you liked it here. It really is a fantastic location, isn't it? So close to everything that St Ives has to offer, and the huge bonus of those great views. There is only a standard double bed in this property (along with the sofa bed), as opposed to king or queen size bed. We completely appreciate that if you are used to a larger size bed at home, these may understandably seem quite small, so we try to make this as clear as we can in the description and photos. Great stay at No 37, very comfortable accommodation with lovely views of the Island and Ocean. We stay twice a year usually. We will miss it next year and hopefully will be back in 2023.

This property is a dream, amazing location and an amazing place to stay. Literally couldn’t find fault with it, everything was the highest standard in the property. If you have small children the stairs are steep so maybe take a gate with you. My 3 year old gave me nightmares trying to get up an down them. Otherwise thank you for providing such a fantastic holiday for us.

The stairs are certainly something that should be considered at time of booking, if you have young children, or even those unsteady on their feet. Although they are not particularly steep in comparison to many stairs in properties around here, the tread is perhaps a little narrower than some, and with them being open steps and wooden, it may make some a little nervous. We include a couple of photos on the website to clearly show these, so that guests can make an informed decision about them, but please do not hesitate to contact the team to enquire about anything like this before booking if you are ever looking to return to Cornwall. A fantastic property and a location to die for.

Another lovely holiday in beautiful St. Ives. St Nicholas Court is a very quiet place to stay but right in the heart of the town. We hope to return.

Perfect place to relax and watch the surfers out in the water. This is the second apartment in St Nicholas court I’ve stayed at and I can highly recommend the location, the added bonus is a car parking space makes a stay here even easier.

First visit to St Ives and rebooked this apartment during my stay - need I say more.

Everything we had hoped for. Great location, great sea view, great sized parking space. The property is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.

We stay at No 37 twice a year. The location is fantastic and the apartment gets better and better. Great new stylish flooring and lamps downstairs. Fresh new stair and bedroom carpet . The owners keep adding lovely personal touches. The apartment has one of the larger parking spaces. A firm favourite with us. Aspects are on site making it easy to pick up and drop off keys, great service all round.

Fabulous location, fantastic views, (especially the sunset over Porthmeor beach.) parking a bonus . Would definitely recommend this apartment .

We stayed at 37 St.Nicholas Court in June 2019. Wow what a fantastic apartment, very spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed & lovely bed linen & towels. Lots of cupboards to store everything in. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Everything you might need is provided in the kitchen, including a dishwasher, which was a bonus & the owners have been very thoughtful & provided enough crockery so that you can use the dishwasher. It was great having the two balconies , so nice to have some outdoor space & there are lovely outdoor chairs & table to sit & relax & watch the sun go down. An absolute bonus with this particular apartment is the large car parking space in the secure car park, underneath the building. I think the owners have been very thoughtful in making this apartment into a beautiful home from home. Loved it :)

We were very pleased with our short break at 37 St Nicholas Court. Not many other companies offer the opportunity to book for less than a week. The property was ideally located near to the town and beaches, with lovely views of Porthmeor Beach and the Island.. It was comfortable, spacious and well equipped.
