Shopping in St Ives
From books to jewellery to freshly made food, shopping in St Ives is a Cornish tradition thanks to the cobbled streets and independent shops that line them.
One Seawinds is a perfect hideaway retreat for couples, with so much to do and see just a short walk from the doorstep. Within a two minute walk you can be dipping your toes in the water's edge of Porthmeor beach or viewing some fine art in the Tate Gallery. There are restaurants, pubs, shops and fabulous picnic spots by the sea, so you won't be short of things to do! The apartment is stylishly furnished and comfortable, so whatever the time of year, while the weather might change, you'll be cosied up with your loved one and be able to completely unwind.
Short and long stay, pay and display parking is available 30 meters to the rear of the apartment. The apartment is on one level on the ground floor, so is perfect for guests with restricted mobility.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two projects taking place within Godrevy Gardens, which is on the land opposite One Seawinds. There is a tall scaffolding structure up, covered in sheeting, which does impact the views from the property. The projects are expected to take place through to Easter 2026 with activities seen, heard, and felt throughout the duration. Please contact the customer services team for more information and photos.

Lovely little apartment, nice patio area and furniture for an outdoor meal or BBQ. The interior was clean and tidy with lots of nice seaside paraphernalia and trinkets. Modern kitchen with an undercounted fridge with freezer compartment. Smart TV and DVD player as well as a CD player/radio for music. Fab apartment for a week away in St Ives.

Porthmeor means 'large cove' in Cornish?

Lovely accommodation in the heart of St Ives. 5 minute walk down to the beach, although it is uphill going back! The apartment was nice and clean and had everything you could need to ensure a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely return.

Wonderful flat, great location for a short 2 minute walk down to fore street. Short 3 minute walk to the beach. Brilliant little holiday place to stay at!
Mr Cruickshank Oct 2022
Very enjoyable stay at One Seawinds. It was in an ideal location 5 minutes from centre of town down some steep steps but was not a problem for us. Everything was catered for at this property. Will definitely be staying again.
Mrs Thomas Sep 2021
We had a really enjoyable stay at 1 Seawinds. Nice and bright property within easy walking distance of Barnoon car park. Lot of steps down or steep hills down to beach but that’s to be expected in St Ives. No ventilation in Bedroom meant it got a little warm at times but a fan had been provided. Would definitely stay there again

The property is very comfortable and in a great location with a short walk to the centre of St Ives. There is a lovely outlook to St Nicholas church and the sea. It is very handy for the Tate gallery and Porthmeor beach. I would recommend this property and I hope to stay there again

Thank you for your comments. This property is up a bit of a steep hill, which is certainly something to consider. It is still just a short walk into town, but the uphill walk back at the end of the day may not be for everyone! We are sorry that you found the bed uncomfortable; it can be very difficult to find a mattress that will suit everyone and it is disappointing to hear that it was not to your preference. For now, we will monitor comments to keep an eye on guest's preferences over the coming months. Thanks again. Tanya, Customer Services
