Property is lovely and the view is unbeatable, really good value for money

Lovely apartment with stunning views over St Ives and only a 10 minute walk into centre with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Good location for visiting other Cornwall attractions.

We had a lovely stay at Porthia Bay and will recommend it to friends and family looking to stay in St Ives. The accommodation is a good size, the kitchen and living room were larger than we had imagined from the pictures online but the ultimate selling point of this place are the views from the windows. The car parking was a convenient (tip we found it best to reverse in from the main road to make getting out easier) and the location was a reasonable walk into the middle of town. The desk was a real bonus for us when booking and it did allow me to work from the accommodation for a couple of days. The wi-fi was good for video calls and other remote working functions.

Porthia bay apartment was lovely and thee best view, absolutely spotless. We all agreed they were the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in. Such a nice touch as well was the milk, tea and coffee, for when we arrived, I would definitely use you again, faultless, thank you again.

Our stay was perfect. The beautiful view, close to the city centre yet quiet. The house has a nice calm and warm atmosphere. Very nice that there was a lot of kitchenware If it is up to me, I will definitely come back. In one room you did hear the traffic at night, but that was the only downside.

A very comfortable apartment, plenty of room with a lovely balcony giving stunning views. The view over St Ives Harbour when you wake in the morning is fabulous, and listening to the sea breaking on the beach when laid in bed was so relaxing. Some may find the walk back up from town a bit of a drag, it didn't bother us but people unsteady on their feet should probably bare that in mind. We will definitely stay again. And a bonus of a large off road parking place.

We have stayed in a lot of properties with Aspects and this was by far the best. A lovely spacious apartment, well equipped with everything you needed. The views are to die for, you can hear the sea from the top bedroom. Lovely little sun trap balcony too to watch the world go by. Parking space is fabulous. A bit of a walk back up the hill but it's so worth it. Husband booked this for my 50th birthday - the best week ever.

Another lovely week at Porthia Bay. The property was spotlessly clean when we arrived and has everything you need for a short break. The view from the balcony, sitting room and master bedroom is magical and changes all the time according to the weather. Loved hearing the sea through the open bedroom window all night!

Very spacious, clean property. The pictures do not do it justice, much larger than we thought it would be. Location great - just a 10 minute walk into town, slight incline on the way back. Car parking a massive bonus. Lovely balcony that catches the afternoon soon. We have stayed in lots of accommodation in St Ives and this has been the best. Very homely and looked after with care. Would highly recommend and we would certainly return.

Fantastic position overlooking the beach at Porthminster. Short walk downhill to all the restaurants and bars. Gradual walk back up if you take the road route. Comfortable and clean property. Met the owner whilst there and he showed us his other apartment which again was lovely very kind of him and he was very friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will return again if we get the opportunity

Good property and very roomy .Parking easy and all in all good value.

This is a great apartment close to Porthminster Beach with fabulous views and a lovely balcony that catches the afternoon sun. Parking is easy and the apartment is smart and well appointed with everything needed to make your stay a great one. It is a 10 minute walk into town either by road or the path along the beach - highly recommended

Lovely large apartment. Well equipped and comfortable . Great to have parking and wonderful views. Would stay there again. Sadly no functioning oven for 4 days but then it was fixed.

Great location and accomodation

Nice spacious property with beautiful sea views and outside space. Parking although provided which is good, it is a little tight in getting in and out at the entrance.

Poor communication to the customer

If you are happy walking , porthia bay is an excellent choice to stay in . The house is very spacious and well positioned . The view from the bedroom window is spectacular, waking up listening to the waves is very satisfying . Would definitely come back

We will rebook for next year we loved it. Superb views and very comfortable. Good wi fi and comfy beds Very convenient for the town centre and has off street parking.

Lovely property. The view of the harbour from the flat is absolutely beautiful and it's great to have a parking space and be only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Also really close to Porthminster beach and the south coast path. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and is spacious and very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. It is on one of the main roads into St Ives so occasionally you are aware of traffic sounds, especially when sitting on the balcony - quiet later in the evening though. Would definitely stay again. 

Lovely property, lovely location, lovely holiday

A very well appointed flat with marvellous views. Just up from Porthminster Beach, so very easy to get into town. Great to have on-site parking.

Wonderful view and mostly very private. Porthia Bay is very light and open and provides all the required facilities for a comfortable holiday.

Aspect are an amazing company, they are always at hand if you need anything, nothing is too much trouble, they're fab. We all had a wonderful holiday and will book again next year with them, thank you.

If you enjoy a location with a amazing view this is the property for you! we have visited twice now and cannot see us renting anywhere else.... lovely and clean. and aspects were amazing to help with our wedding arrangements thank you Sue Kind regards Jackie and Dave Bowen

Really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful views from lounge and en suite bedroom. Very light, spacious yet cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Felt a home from home. Great walks from the front door to beaches and coast paths. Would come again.

There was a problem with the property we had originally booked, but Aspects staff found us an alternative that more than lived up to our expectations. It was handy that their pickup office isn't in St Ives as there isn't a problem with parking. Had a great week in St Ives and the sun shone on us every day. Lots of walking and not too many pasties. 10 out of 10

Very unhappy with the building site next door

Porthia Bay is a fantastic apartment with spectacular views . I could live there permanently ?? Would definitely book again !
