More specious than it looks on the pictures. It is a great property for a family of 4

Porthia View is a really good property in a brilliant location. Off road parking means it is easy to unload when arriving and reload when leaving, and there is adequate space to turn a car in the driveway. Although on a busy road there’s almost no road noise and it is easy to get to the bus and train so the car isn’t a necessity. The property is very well equipped and appointed and was clean on arrival.

I am reluctant to write a review to tell others how fabulous this property is. Nowhere else has the amazing view of the whole of St Ives and wherever you are on the Wharf you can see Porthia View. It is a beautiful flat, comfortable and tastefully decorated. But if I tell everyone how lovely it is they may all book and we won’t get in!!!!

Spacious, immaculate property with spectacular views. A healthy walk back uphill makes this property a very good and healthy choice in and out of season. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Excellent stay much bigger than expected gorgeous views from window. Very comfortable apartment with all facilties and equipment. Be prepared to walk up hills though. Would fully recommend to stay here.

We stayed as a family of 4 for a week and loved the flat and view. Very easy to walk to the beach and into town. Kitchen is fully kitted out and there is washing lines and clothes stands to dry wetsuits and towels. We found the property in a very clean state and were very happy.

Porthia View was a perfect place to spend a weeks holiday in St. Ives. The apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was walking distance from St Ives and close to shops and transport as well as having car parking space.

This is a wonderful apartment right on the top of the hill which then provides amazing views over most of St Ives - always something to look at. The apartment was surprisingly spacious- often photos are misleading. Showers were great and car parking a big advantage. It is up the hill from town but we all decided it would be a good place to return to year after year.

Wonderful location , wonderful views,great comfy beds. Just a lovely place to stay.

Excellent location. Very clean with a lovely view from the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking and having a parking space is definitely a plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Porthia view and would go back again. Its an easy walk to the beach and St Ives and a short drive to the nearest supermarket. The view was stunning across St Ives and towards Godfrey . Just beware of the seagulls on the beach.

Good holiday accommodation with very easy parking. There are two bedrooms, both en suite and both comfortably furnished. One with a king sized bed and one with two singles. Very clean everywhere. Lovely white towels. Good outside area for sitting in the sun with fabulous view of st Ives. Brilliant for photographers. Steep walk up from the beach but ok in stages. It’s easier to walk from the town but still a long haul up to the house. Taxi cost 3.50 on a particularly lazy day. Having said that we would stay here again and were sad to leave.

We were delighted with our stay at Porthia View and would certainly look to re-visit if we are planning to have a stay in St Ives again. The photos of the property on the website really don't do it justice! Porthia View is in a great location within a short walk from St Ives and a supermarket a short drive down the road too. There are two ways to walk into St Ives - along the road (which is much easier coming back as not as steep), or downhill (our preferred route into town) as this was a lovely walk with views of beach. You could also walk to the Harbour along the beach if the tide was out. Took about 10-15mins either way. It was great that we were able to park where parking in st ives may have been difficult and the property was very well equipped with everything we needed. The property has fantastic views of st ives and the beach/ocean from the living room/kitchen and the outside space - also with views over st ives towards the harbour was an added bonus. The sun lounge/porch was lovely to sit and enjoy the view too or to just sit and relax with a good book. It was our first visit to St Ives itself and it had everything we wanted - the obligatory cornish pasty and ice cream, cafes, restaurants, independent shops selling art, souvenirs and crafts, great beaches and a harbour to simply sit and watch the world go by. Also our first time booking with Aspects. The team were superb. Friendly and helpful and would certainly book with them again if considering another stay in Cornwall!

Porthia View is a great apartment. Well equipped with everything we needed. Wonderful views from the large bay window and from the patio area.

Lovely and spacious apartment with amazing views and outside space. Perfect position for a short walk into St Ives without having to take your car into the congested town . Parking was a big bonus. Everything you could think of was provided. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would book again.

The apartment exceeded our expectations, it was a very good size, nicely furnished, well equipped, and comfortable. The wide sea view was fantastic. We were unlucky with the weather and so didn't spend as much time outside on the terrace. In an unseasonably cold May we were pleased that the central heating was extremely effective. We would certainly like to go again next year.

Great property and location, perfect for our family of 4. Property was very clean and great to have outdoor space to sit and eat. Aspect were great to deal with and there were no problems with amending our booking to fit in with the easing of lockdown. St Ives is a great place to have a holiday.

We had a very enjoyable family holiday staying at Porthia View. The apartment has been freshly painted and carpeted for 2020. It’s very clean, with good quality fixtures, fittings and appliances. The highlights include the outside terrace area with spectacular view of St Ives, and the car parking. Parking in St Ives is difficult, and a lot of accommodation provides very tight spaces. You have a shared driveway at Porthia View which gave us great space for our large 4x4.

We absolutely loved staying at Porthia View it’s a beautiful apartment with a spectacular view. We would definitely stay here again.

Just had a lovely week at Porthia View. Clean and comfortable and well equipped. Lovely view from the sitting room, parking (which is a bonus), not too far from the town centre. The only thing I would mention is that if a family were staying in the apartment above it might be a bit noisy. We were lucky there was just a couple staying when we were there. Apart from that I would definitely recommend the property. Vanessa and Ian

first time staying at porthia view and very pleased with accommodation and especially the view of stives harbour! would stay again!

Very basic apartment, although fittings in kitchen & bathrooms are good & basic cleaning was done, there was thick dust behind beds and on skirting boards. Bedroom carpets had stains on, outside area in need of improvement and some weeding, when sat the view is obscured by a fence. Not what I’d expect for the price, disappointing.

This was our first visit to St. Ives and what better place to stay than Porthia View for spectacular views of the harbour and Porthminster beach. Spent many hours during the day and night gazing out to sea! Added bonus of outside space too.

What a perfect view we had of St.Ives from Porthia View! It was a lovely apartment and a great location with parking for the week. Just a short walk from the apartment down Primrose Hill passing exotic plants and trees and you're on Caribbean like sand at Porthminster Beach in less than 5 mins. Also just 2 minutes drive to a large hidden away Tesco to stock up the well equipped kitchen for some self-catering. (Although there are so many places to eat out in St.Ives - even just on Porthminster beach there is a proper restaurant and a couple of burger/pasty/cider bars!). Would highly recommend this apartment and location. Just as the photos portray on the website.
