Fabulous apartment with spectacular views. We loved everything about it.

Starboard Lookout is magical! My adult daughters and I found this apartment when we were badly in need of healing and respite in 2018. We have been returning every year since then and every year as soon as we walk into the apartment there is a wonderful sense of peace. The apartment is light and spacious and the view from the balcony across the Atlantic is breathtaking. Turning to look left, St Ives sits surrounded by sea bedecked in 'jewels' of colourful lights and the lights of fishing boats popping outside the harbour . There is everything in the apartment to make your stay comfortable and to rustle up your own food in the well equipped kitchen if you fancy eating out on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening. You only need to pack your clothes and toiletries as everything else is provided for. The apartment complex is under the keen eye of Jo and Jade (Housekeeping and Property Management) and is absolutely spotless,with a real sense of care and attention to detail so that the cleanliness of the apartments remain absolutely first class. Aspects are amazing and communication is extremely good. Their arrival guide is exceptional with all the details you need and if you have any queries at all, a quick emails is all you need to resolve them. There is no wonder we come back every year. Its a beautiful apartment with the benefit of secure free car parking (an absolute must in busy St Ives) and I just cannot rate it highly enough!

We only live locally and had this apartment after our wedding for the weekend - there’s nothing to fault, it’s fantastic. Great views and location, a short walk to the town and surrounded by fabulous coast paths for the best walking! Loved it!

Lovely apartment, everything you could wish for, plenty of kitchen utensils etc. Very warm and comfortable would definitely stay again. Special mention to Debbie, she went above and beyond to make our stay great.

We have enjoyed yet another wonderful holiday at Starboard Lookout. Absolutely amazing apartment with stunning views and a private balcony to enjoy overlooking the sea and coastline and St Ives harbour, twinkling with lights in the evening. Exceptional housekeeping - cleanliness and comfort guaranteed, thanks to Debbie and her housekeeping team! Beautifully furnished and equipped with attention to detail to ensure a perfect stay. This apartment is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the pure joy that is Cornwall and has the much prized free and secure car parking place (an absolute must in St Ives) with parking very difficult in the town. I couldn't recomment it highly enough to do it justice!

We have just had a lovely weeks holiday in St Ives at the Morwenstow apartments. The views are spectacular the only problem was awful weather so we couldn’t enjoy them to their full potential. The apartment is immaculate with everything in it you could possibly want and lovely and warm. I think one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in whilst in St Ives. There are a couple of lovely walks into St Ives and Carbis Bay which we did a few times and they are very picturesque. The only problem we found was the position of the apartments situated quite a bit out of St Ives we are not quite so fit being in the elderly category and having health problems so found the walk back from St Ives difficult as it is uphill rather than going into St Ives which was downhill. It didn’t put us off as what we found successful was to walk into St Ives and get a taxi back as you could get a taxi easily at a cost of £4. We did try the park and ride but this was always full we did succeed in getting a disabled space after riding round the car park for about hour. The service was excellent when you could park and the buses returned to the car park from St Ives every 10 mins.

The accommodation is in a good location, we stayed as a family of 4, wonderful views across out to sea, property was immaculate and clean, furnishings were of a high standard.

Walk to St Ives town centre is a a good 15 minutes and does have a steep incline walking back.

Overall brilliant great experience would stay again

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Starboard Lookout. During these difficult times, we were understandably apprehensive about our stay in Cornwall this year. We needn’t have worried as Debbie (Housekeeper) and her team at Morwenstow take their cleaning & hygiene standards to another level, and our apartment was immaculate! We chose the apartments mainly for location, private parking & of course those stunning views! It was way beyond all of our expectations & we were definitely not disappointed! The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and has everything you could possibly need for a luxury self catering holiday. It’s just a few minutes walk down the hill path from the apartment to Porthminster beach, which can be accessed through the garden gate at the rear of the property. Enjoy a short stroll down following the main road, and it’s 10/15 minutes into the centre of St Ives itself. We loved every minute of our stay at Starboard Lookout and we will definitely will be returning again next year!

This was our first family staycation and this property did not disappoint. Perfect location, waking up to views of the sea, and good quality finish. We were a little concerned it might be a little noisy being in a block of apartments but we needn’t have worried- we didn’t hear a sound from anyone else! I have already recommended this property to a friend for next year.

Our apartment was amazing with fan static views, good equipment and very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property, it was spotless, well appointed with stunning views, very difficult to fault. Quite a long walk into St Ives up and down steep hills which my 4 year old son and heavily pregnant wife did negotiate but we did end up parking on the pier a few times to make life easier. We will happily return to the property.

This is the third time we have had the pure joy of staying in this apartment! The views are breathtaking - the apartment is stunning. Cleanliness spotless. The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and contains everything needed to underpin a really wonderful holiday. The prosecco and white wine are additional luxuries! Staying in Starboard Lookout is truly 'living the dream' and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We have enjoyed two holidays now at Starboard Lookout and can't wait to return! The apartment has definitely got the 'wow' factor in every respect, with breathtaking sea views from the balcony. It is spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. You literally only need to take your clothes and toiletries! You are welcomed with fresh flowers, wine and biscuits and there are folders containing all the information you will need to make the most of your holiday, including where to find the best beaches, restaurants and shops.The security of the apartment complex is another big plus, as well as the provision of a car parking place within the grounds. The apartment gardens are beautiful and well maintained and the gate leads directly onto a coastal path which will take you to stunning Porthminster Beach, or Carbis Bay, or a lovely walk directly into St Ives. It really is a beautiful place!

Very clean well equipped apartment with stunning views. The slatted bed base needs to be replaced as the slats on the frame are unstable and came out, with a loud cracking sound, on 2 separate nights during our holiday. We had to sleep on the sofa. The caretaker came promptly next morning to fix the bed reinserting the slats and tightening the frame with an allen key - the same thing happened again on our last nights holiday. This is a lovely apartment but the bed base needs to be changed to ensure peaceful nights.

This house is a perfect hide-away that keeps you still closely embedded in the charming site of St. Ives. You have the entire city in beautiful site without being overwhelmed by any noise or trouble. Yet you are just a few steps away from entering the middle of the action if you so wish. Lovely beaches are most easily to be reached with a few meters walking. Simply perfect.

We have enjoyed the most wonderful holiday in a stunning apartment overlooking St Ives bay. The apartment was beautifully furnished and equipped and absolutely spotless. The location was stunning and the views from the apartment balcony amazing. The efficiency of Aspects holidays administration top class. You can book this apartment with complete confidence! This was a beautiful flat with amazing views of Porthminster Beach. Everything was so convenient. It was a short walk to the beach and the Super Tesco was a short easy walk too. Debbie and her cleaning crew were awesome! They took care of us on our early arrival and held our bags for us in the flat while they were completing the cleaning. They even suggested a great place for us to grab a wonderful crab sandwich. The service was fantastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodation. We will be back again and for sure will rent 12 Morwenstow again.

Lovely property with brilliant access to the beach and St Ives (manageable for a 6 year old and an old age pensioner!)

This property has amazing views and easy access to Porthminster Beach yet is quiet and calm away from the centre of St Ives. Parking and proximity to the supermarket are a bonus.

On arrival we were blown away! The quality of the building, property, cleanliness were simply second to none. The views were simply outstanding and being such a short walk from St Ives meant it was so convenient for the restaurents! In all honesty we could have quite happily moved in!

Excellent high spec apartment close to the beach, ideal for families and couples. Having rented other properties in the area this is amongst the best and we plan to return again

We loved our stay at Starboard Lookout. The apartment was luxurious and the views incredible. We had a few nights in with our young sons and never felt we were missing out as we sipped wine looking at the views through the bifold doors

Our expectations of the apartment were high, but it actually exceeded these. We were all delighted with the location and facilities at Morwenstow 12, the standard of the equipment/appliances within the apartment and it's cleanliness. We posted quite a few pictures on social media which received a fantastic response and created a lot of interest. Even down to the A4 binder with 'useful information' - we did have to refer to this for instructions for some of the appliances and I needed to see a Doctor whilst we were away, and everything we needed was in the folder :) Miele appliances were fantastic, wonderfully comfortable beds with excellent quality bedding and ample white fluffy towels. We also loved the Bose sound system! The view from the open plan/lounge area is stunning and we made full use of the balcony - enjoying the views over the bay.
