August 2024

Stayed for the 2nd time at 22 zenith and want to book again for next year. Everything found as described and Aspect holidays is always prompt and efficient in helping with any issues. Room gets very hot when sun shines through so a fan may be a good idea if you are lucky enough to get the weather :-)

Holidays in Porth

With a beautiful, sandy and sheltered beach on the doorstep, and only a 15-minute walk from everything Newquay has to offer, the area of Porth is ideal for a relaxing holiday by the sea.

Porth has an interesting history, dating back centuries. Porth Island, also known as Trevelgue Head was the site of an Iron age fort, with remains still evident today, dating back to the Bronze age. The beach also played a vital role when Newquay became a china clay port; importing coal from south Wales.

Top tip

Pack a picnic and enjoy a day at the beach!

Beaches

Porth

The sandy, sheltered Porth beach is one of Newquay's finest, and with a vast expanse of sand and plenty of rock pools at low tide, it's perfect for a family day at the beach. It's also lifeguarded between 10am and 6pm during the summer months. To the east of the beach you'll find Porth Island, featuring evidence of an iron age settement, and accessible only via a narrow foot bridge!

Whipsiderry

Whipsiderry is great for exploring, with plenty of rock pools to keep you busy. Although the steps down to the beach are a little tricky to negotiate, it's well worth the journey. Plus - this beach is dog friendly all year!

Things to do

Walking

One of the best walks is the coastal path, you can follow this to Watergate Bay, and if you're up to it, all the way to Mawgan Porth. You'll experience breathtaking views, and if you're lucky, you may even see some sea life!

Shopping

Roo's Beach in Porth, is a high-end fashion and lifestyle shop where you'll find stylish clothes, shoes, make-up, stationary, candles, crockery, blankets and more.

Further afield, Newquay high street has a range of shops where you'll find everything you need from food, to toiletries, to gifts.

Other activities

If you're looking for something more active to do, you can try out zorbing at Cornwall Zorbing Park

Alternatively, if relaxation is what you're looking for, the spa at Sands resort is open to the public.

Apartment is very well appointed and superb view, garage entrance is steep and tight , road noise more than expected , but overall enjoyed our stay, watching the changeable weather up close.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

The views from 22 Zenith are pretty spectacular, whatever the weather! We are pleased you enjoyed watching the waves throughout your stay. We are sorry that you were disturbed by traffic on the nearby road, we try to clearly show the location of the property in regards to the road in several of the property photos, alongside the description and the map pinpointing where 22 Zenith is located, so we are sorry any noise was more than you expected. We do hope you agree that the prime location, as well as those stunning views, is definitely worth it! Katy, Customer Services.

The apartment was beautiful the views were absolutely amazing. It was well equipped and clean. Location great. Aspect holidays were super helpful as well so will definitely recommend and use again.

A beautiful apartment is excellent stunning views and great location. The apartment is fully equipped and had great parking . The building had a lift and has easy access to apartment. We are so pleased with apartment we have booked for next year. Thank you Aspect holidays for looking after us. We are excited to stay again.

22 Zenith is a lovely apartment situated on the 2nd floor with a fantastic view across the sea. The property is location just outside of Newquay town which you can walk in 30 minutes or use the local Beryl bikes located at the base of the hill. Recommend the Mermaid to eat at, good pub food and friendly staff and a five minute walk from the apartment. The apartment has everything you need whilst you are there with 2 good size bedroom's usual kitchen appliances and a good size TV and comfortable settee.

Beautiful apartment with amazing view. Would definitely book again

Had a great stay at 22 Zenith, well equipped, comfortable apartment, with fantastic sea views. Good location just outside Newquay, but just a couple of minor issues regards the busy, noisy road and very tight access trying to get out of the underground car park, but all in all a very enjoyable week. Would definitely stay here again.

Had the most amazing time in this apartment. So much so we have booked again. Perfect for the kids. Really safe. Amazing storage. Fab facilities and comfy beds. We loved it

If you are looking for a fantastic apartment in a great location this is the one. The views from the living room are stunning. Porth beach is 5 minutes walk down the hill and it is a lovely sandy beach perfect for families. Watergate bay and mawgan porth are also super close and we enjoyed lots of time at these beaches too.

The apartment itself is modern, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great and we had everything we needed in terms of utensils and kitchen equipment. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms and showers are great.

Would recommend this place to anybody.

We enjoyed our stay at Zenith immensely. The location and views are amazing. It was great watching the changing mood of the sea from the comfort of our apartment. Hopefully we will return.

Amazing views, beautiful flat, great area, good walks, wonderful beaches. Just beware road noise is a problem. Aspects Holidays were easy to deal with.

We are sorry if the risk of road noise was not something that you were aware of. We try to clearly show the proximity of the road within a few of the website photos and show the location on the map on the website, where it is displayed as being on the only road that goes from Newquay town centre to all the popular coastal hotspots like Lusty Glaze, Porth, Watergate Bay and Morgan Porth. There will be some traffic noise, that will be most noticeable on warmer days/weeks where the balcony doors or windows are opened. We hope that you agreed that it was a small price to pay for such a lovely apartment, with those stunning views and super easy access to all the great places to visit in that area. Tanya, Customer services

Beautiful apartment with the most spectacular views. Very comfortable and well kitted out. It is a lot more spacious than the photos show. Perfect for my wheelchair to get in and around in and the underground parking was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Brilliant location near to the beaches and coastal walks Bus stop outside so don’t have to use your car Apartment very clean and comfortable Underground parking is safe and easy to access Fantastic views of the sunsets from the balcony We Will definitely be back

Wonderful week’s Summer Holiday with the family (of 4). 22 Zenith had it all. Location - sited close to a Porth Beach with views to die for both during the day and especially during the sunsets. The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped (we wanted for nothing in this regard). A dedicated underground parking space made things a lot easier to come and go (just enough headroom for our MPV and roof box - caution advised!). We would not hesitate to book again at 22 Zenith or with Aspects Holidays.

We stayed in September 2021, and had the best week away in the most gorgeous apartment. I have travelled to Newquay all my life and 22 zenith was the nicest place I have stayed to date. Great location and amazing view to wake up to every day of Newquay’s coast. The balcony is lovely to chill on in the mornings and evenings. The apartment was so clean and had everything that was needed with plenty of storage. Porth beach right outside the apartment is beautiful and the costal walk to watergate bay is also amazing, with some lovely restaurants. Parking facilities where also perfect as you knew your car was secure. Each bedroom also has smart tv’s and the beds are very comfortable. Aspect holidays have also been a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely recommend booking with them. Thank you so much for a lovely stay we had the best time! Will be booking this apartment again!
