This was the third time we have stayed at this cosy and comfortable cottage and it feels very homely each time we stay. It is really well equipped in the kitchen with excellent coffee machine! The artworks are lovely throughout the house. The bed is comfy and the house is quiet and tucked away but close to the promenade and the town for excellent pubs and restaurants.

Our third time staying at Hideaway House and it truly feels like a home away from home. Centrally located with easy access to the promenade, the Jubilee Pool and central Penzance. The house is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and clean and the kitchen is well equipped with all the amenities required for a holiday.

Great cottage in a very quite location. Close to restaurants, beach, buses and trains. Well equipped kitchen. Wouldn’t think twice about booking to stay here again.

Hideaway House is a welcoming house, very nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. Located in a very convenient location in Penzance with easy access to the city centre and the promenade. We look forward to return again in the near future.

We would highly recommend this property. The house was beautifully decorated and super clean, with lovely artwork on display. There was pretty much everything that we needed, including a very well equipped kitchen, phone chargers, torches, spare bulbs etc. The dining room extension is lovely and light, and we spent a lot of time at the kitchen island. The location is great and very close to the promenade, whilst also being a 10 minute walk into town. We had some lovely walks down to Newlyn for fresh fish. The weather was wild (and beautiful) over the festive break, and the house was a fantastic place to come back from bracing walks and hunker down for the evening.

Hideaway House exceeded our expectations in every way. In 30 years of using holiday cottages, this was by far the best we have stayed in. The decor is tasteful and cleanliness could not be faulted. Everything we needed was there. In terms of car parking, there is limited street parking so I would highly recommend unloading at the property then using the wherry town car park a few minutes walk away. 7 day’s parking for £25 very cheap and convenient.

Excellent location and beautifully presented cottage with everything you need to make it feel like home. This was our second visit and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cat was a bit more demanding this time, but we didn't give in to it as we thought that a holiday cottage isn't it's best source of food!!

Hideaway house was beautiful. Fully equipped, had everything we needed and so much more... Beautifully decorated with no expense spared. Penzance itself didn't really have much to do but it was a perfect base to visit the local area.

Hideaway House was a great base to explore the west of Cornwall. The house was extremely clean and well kept and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved how close it is to the sea and enjoyed some lovely evening walks along the promenade. The view of Mounts Bay looking out to St. Michael’s Mount and Newlyn will never grow old! The owners have compiled one of the best information booklets we have ever seen with lots of great recommendations for places to visit and food to eat! We also loved how they have decorated the house throughout with artwork of the local area too. With regards to parking we did manage to find a space close to the house apart from one night where we used the Penlee Park car park which is free from 4pm to 9am each day. This is a 5 minute walk from the property through the park to the house. We were always able to offload the beach gear metres from the house which was fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Hideaway House and would highly recommend a stay here!

We spent an amazing week at Hideaway House in Penzance. Cottage is ideally located for the Jubilee Pool, promenade and just a short walk away from the main shops and restaurants. The house has been tastefully decorated, was impeccably clean and was truly a home away from home. We are looking forward to return in the near future!

We had a fabulous time at Hideaway house. It was really clean and had a lovely house to stay in. It was really close to the beach and shops, as well as being a perfect base to get to other locations in Cornwall easily. We particularly like Mousehole which was reached by a lovely walk along the coast line. We would definitely book again.

Very calm, clean and well equipped house. Plus, you do find parking - eventually!

Peaceful place. Very calm. Near to many attractive points in the town. It can be reached by foot from the train station. The house is well furnished with high quality furniture. All is maintained very well. Very nice election of art pictures at the walls. I stayed 2 times there and like the place very much.

Hideaway House exceeded our expectations. It lived up to its name, in a quiet location but central to everything needed. It was stylishly furnished, exceptionally comfortable and clean and absolutely everything was provided. The owner’s personal touches made it feel like a home whilst away. Hideaway House was just perfect in every way and we can't recommend it enough. The furnishings are beautiful, wonderful art work on the walls and around the house, it's sparkling clean, really quiet and in a great location. It's close to the town, the promenade and Jubilee Pool and a short walk to Newlyn. It serves as a great base for anyone exploring this part of Cornwall. The attention to detail in Hideaway House is fantastic and it feels like a lot of thought, care and love has gone into it. We really hope to come back one day in the not too distant future.

Excellent property in a very convenient location.

We visited in August and really enjoyed our stay. Hideaway house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay from cool bags to picnic baskets. Beautifully situated near gardens and a cafe for breakfast. Easy to walk into town. Streets were very busy for parking although we always managed to find a spot. We would definitely stay again just make sure you book restaurants before your visit as everywhere is really busy .

Fantastic house, great location and had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable and the whole house was clean. Decor was lovely and made it real home from home. Really light downstairs, shaded and cool upstairs and very private. Would recommend!

One of the best cottages we have stayed in… spotlessly clean, stylish, comfortable and a lovely place to relax in. We found it to be the perfect base, literally a couple of minutes walk to the seafront or to the beautiful Morab Gardens, with both Newlyn and Penzance town centre an easy walk. Very comfortable beds, quality bed linen and thick towels, well equipped kitchen, plenty of local guidebooks provided and everything for the perfect holiday for us. We had no issues in finding free on street parking every day close by. Thoroughly recommend, thank you.

This is a very nice and well located house in a very calm street. No one will disturb you. The inside is all done in a very high quality (floors, equipment, decoration and art). There is a hidden terrace place with sun nearly all of the day. - The most important points can be done by foot: waterfront, centre and bigger shops, like Lidl. Some parks are closed by. Bus stop not far. Travelling already several times to Cornwall this house I liked best. Thank you very much!

Beautiful house in great location.

A tastefully decorated gem of a house. Very clean and well cared for. Large master bedroom with huge bed and attractive bathroom. Comfy sofa and delightful kitchen. Well equipped in every room including board games, books and dvds. No parking outside so be prepared to carry your bags a little/fair way.

This was our ‘COVID’ holiday. We booked Hideway house in 2019 and were wary about travelling from Wales. Very glad we did, it’s a lovely house, spotlessly clean with a very homely and peaceful feel. Particularly liked the art work! We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed time as a family on Cornwall’s many beaches. Penzance is full of character and we enjoyed the short walks in and around town. Lidl close by for the essentials. Although no designated parking we never had a problem parking down a street close by.

This is a lovely period cottage on the edge of a Georgian conservation area and close to Morrab Sub-tropical Gardens. It's possible to walk into Penzance centre in 10-15 minutes. This is a quiet and leafy area. Newlyn is an easy walk away along the sea front and Mousehole a little bit farther.

The cottage couldn't be better equipped and everything seemed new and top quality. It was spotlessly clean. There are lovely art works around and a good collection of guide books, maps and DVDs.

We felt very confident about staying here during the current pandemic.

Hideaway House is a lovely property, providing everything you need and more for a quiet and relaxing stay. Highly recommended. One minute from the sea, three minutes from the Penlee Museum and a short walk into town via the secret and stunning Regency enclave of Morrab Place or the beautiful subtropical Morrab Gardens. An excellent Lidl is five minutes’ walk. We wish we could have stayed forever!

We had a lovely week here and has to be one of the best we've stayed in. It has everything you need and there is plenty of space to relax.

We really enjoyed our week in this lovely house and didn't want to leave. It is one of the best we have stayed in so far with comfy bedroom and light and airy kitchen diner. The location in Penzance is perfect and very close to one of our favourite pubs! We even had a very friendly cat, which sat on the wall at the front of the house for most of the week.

The house was a delight to stay in. An incredibly high standard of decoration and functioning and the location couldn't have been better chosen. It is a perfect house for two people, it is extremely comfy, tasteful and one senses the personal touch which made our stay perfect.

It’s is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in and we are well advanced in years now!! The town is within easy walking distance for the Moore aged amongst us!!

Hideaway House is an amazing find. Tucked away in a pedestrian area, so it’s lovely and quiet, yet only 1 minutes walk to the seafront (literally!).

It has absolutely everything you could need to make it a real home from home, with superb attention to detail and extra special little touches. The welcome basket and scones were the icing on the cake after a long journey.

We had a lovely few days here. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
